What is going on first week of November?

Seems a lot of hotels are already booked. Does anyone know if something big is going on that week (Nov. 5-9)?

I could be wrong and there might be something - but I found out last year that many hotels do not have rooms released online until closer. I booked our trip (October trip) last year in June as soon as the 4th night free was released - and my dates weren't there - so I booked concierge because it was the only thing available. A few weeks later every site had tons of rooms - could be something similar.

The Haunted Mansion and Small World are usually closed during this time as they are being decorated for Christmas. These usually open back up on Nov 11. The other decorations are up and I think Santa doesn't come out until Nov 11.
