We paid $3.68 in Birmingham today.

In Sonoma County it is well over $4 a gallon. I paid $4.23 a gallon just the other day. And that was at a lesser expensive station. And it was for 87 not 91.

Just an update: As I was getting gas (the price was $3.99.9/gal), the price went up to $4.10/gal. INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thankfully, I was locked in to the $3.99 price before the price went up.

$3.99 here in the Detroit suburbs! Yikes it was more than $50 to fill up my Accord yesterday!

Yesterday I drove by a station near my home, to drop off my mom at her house after a shopping trip. I needed gas but decided to get it on the way home. When I went by, gas was at $3.85. An hour later when I stopped to fill up it was $4.05. Today when I went past, it was $4.15. Unbelievable.
We will be back in the recession in no time.

I found today a receipt from when I purchased gas in Oct. 2010 it was $2.239 a gal, today it was $3.699. In 6 months it went up $1.46 a gallon.

Yesterday I didn't mind sitting home, it was a rainy mess of a day. Today the sun is out and we're home because it's costing us a fortune for my husband to drive back and forth to work. The job he has this week is almost 100 miles each way.

Where we live in WV it averages $3.88 a gallon. Took $80.00 for DH to fill up his truck yesterday. We stay home so much more than we used to and when we do go out we plan what we have to do for the week and do it all in one trip.
