What is gas now where you live?

I filled up last night at oue local Martin's grocery store. The price was $3.19 a gallon but I paid $3.09 using my 10 cents off.

However, a Sunoco I pass on on the way to work everyday was $3.09 on Wednesday evening and $3.39 on Thursday morning! How is this possible?

I spent $3.09 last night filling up at our Sam's here in the northernmost part of MS (outside of Memphis TN). It's gonna kill me with my suburban, but I do love my car!:rolleyes1

$3.09 last weekend outside of raleigh, nc. Jumped to $3.19 mid week, $3.29 this morning at 10:15 and $3.33 90 minutes later when I passed the same stations after swimming lessons :scared1: must be nice to raise your prices 1 cent every 30 minutes.

You must pass the same stations that I do! I saw some at $3.49 about an hour ago.

I saw $3.55 at the corner gas station, up 11 cents from yesterday on Long Island( not the rich part either.)

Just passed the local no-name cheapy station and it was $3.65 the name brand across from it was $3.69. That's up .10 since yesterday.
I'm in NYC.

Filled up yesterday when it was $3.29 and it's a good thing. It's up to $3.39 now. :guilty:

Isn't there a law about raising gas prices (once per every 24 hours)? Or is that only in NJ?

At the rate gas is going up it may be over 5 bucks a gallon at least in part of the country by Easter Vacation, forget by summer. Now usually it comes down as soon as someone predicts something alarming and it has been forecast to that in the past. I hope I am wrong!

If there is then the gas stations in my area are unaware it exists. When situations like this Libyan thing occur, they usually raise prices several times per day, sometimes a few times per hour. The people in my area remember all to well having no gas for long periods after hurricane Katrina and revert to panic mode when there is any threat to oil production. By the way, gas was 3.29 this am.

gas is now $3.31 per gallon in my small city in NE alabama. the cheapest station is $3.19, but that's the cheapie, no-name gas that i'm afraid to put in my old car. my DH drives over 30 miles one way to work, so this is going to be very painful for us. DD13 and i will be basically housebound until prices go back down.

I paid $3.28 per gallon at Costco this afternoon.

I live in Scottsdale AZ

Filled up yesterday at $3.75... Today it is $3.80... So I don't wanna hear any of you complaining about gas prices! :rolleyes1

I'm in Miami for a few months. Filled the tank this afternoon at the cheapest station on Biscayne Blvd....3.28 per gallon for regular. When I arrived here in early January, it was 2.97:confused3

Gas was 3.59 yesterday, I haven't been out today, nasty snowstorm once again has hit!
