What is frozen sing a long

?? Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

A show where the story of Frozen is retold in condensed form and includes characters from the movie. Singing, as you may have guessed, is involved.

They have 2 "historians" that tell the story. lol It's very funny version. The sing a long has 2 screens that have the words to the songs (like there's anyone that doesn't know the words). We took my less than 2 yr old granddaughter couple weeks ago. She is convinced she knows all the words she just doesn't say them clearly. Her jinx is clear and her tick tock is too. We went again last week (my youngest daughter 21 and her friend) he has an amazing voice, sings falsetto, hitting the notes perfectly. My daughter was embarrassed he was singing a little loud, I enjoyed it. Though I was waiting for him to stand up and sing..he didn't, he was bummed that they closed American Idol...he had planned on trying out.

We saw it the other day. My almost 15 y/o DD and myself. I have only seen the movie once and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Very funny and we'll done.

Do you have a room of kids sitting in chairs singing or are they standing and waving arms all over the place?

I have 2 DGDs who have sung the songs a couple of million times and you NEED arm waving for the right emotion.

It sounds cute, but will I get smack in the head a lot? :rotfl:

I didn't notice any arm waving. But I have to say, the show and sing along were excellent! :thumbsup2

The sing-a-long is currently in the Premier Theater, over by the streets of America..kind of behind everything. It will be there for awhile, and then moved to the AIE venue. At least, that's what I have been told.
There is regular theater seating....I have been three times now, didn't notice a lot of arm waving going on. I will say that currently, those who have purchased the Frozen pkg get the seats up front and the center section of the theater. Goes back probably 9 or 10 rows. Those with FP+s are allowed in, then those with same day reservations, then those that haven't any kind of reservation.
It's a really fun show. Very well done.

When we went, we were right near the back of the line to enter. We found seats on the benches at the back of the theatre. We actually loved these seats! The kids had a great view without anyone obstructing their view and we were the first to exit and beat the crowds out of there. :thumbsup2

OP - FP+ is available for the sing-a-long - I just got one for November 6.

Just so you are aware, it is something different than I
we thought it would be.

I thought it would be Anna and Elsa singing the songs along with the kids.

But actually Anna is only in the very first and very last scene. And Elsa is only in the very last scene. Instead it is two narrators who do the majority of the show and most of the singing.

As long as you know this going in, you won't be disappointed. But my kids thought they would get to sing all the songs along with Anna and Elsa.

Also, we watched the show last Wednesday and when we walked by in the morning, they were telling people "come in now, show starting shortly and no FP or ticket required!" We were on our way to a lunch reservation so didn't have time, and had a FP for later. When we went later on, they didn't even scan our FPs bands/cards to mark the FPs as used. Not sure if that was intentional or not. But there were tons of seats left, so no FP was really needed. However, this was on a very slow day in September, so might not always be the case.

There was a cute 3(?) year old sitting in front of me who did the arm movements to the songs. I loved it! But she was small enough that all of the movement was contained to just her seat.
