What is everyone doing today???

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year!! We are laid back and have time to just enjoy each other. Tomorrow is more crazy. So far today I made toll house cookies, rice crispy treats, watched a little christmas tv, visited a little with my mom next door and visited the Dis boards .We will later attend a neighboors open house for a brief easy visit , attend Christmas eve services and then have our traditional christmas eve under the tree dinner. It is easy premade finger foods !!!

Working a half day. Our company puts on a buffet lunch. Then later its off to service, and supper with my wife's cousin and her family.

Making yet another batch of sugar cookies - the first double batch is long gone and now we have no cookies to leave for Santa!

Have to go grocery shopping in the madness! Yesterday we got caught up in last-minute gift buying and it got too late for groceries. At least we don't have anyone coming over this year. We're doing all the visiting.

We'll go to 5:00 p.m. mass then to my sister's house for Christmas Eve dinner.

Tomorrow, we'll open presents with the kids and then hang out at our house until around 4:00. Then we'll to go my parent's house to open presents and have Christmas dinner. We're lucky that all of us live in the same city so we just bounce around to each other's houses. I was in charge of Thanksgiving so we don't have to host or cook for Christmas!

making cut out sugar cookies with DD 13, DS20 just came home from work,and DS 16 has to work from 4-6 at KFC. after he comes home we will have our traditional Christmas Eve steak supper, then open gifts(started doing this when they stopped believing and wanting to sleep in) then off to midnight mass. Very relaxing. Tomorrow they will go to their paternal grandparents( and be ignored by their SD)for christmas noon dinner, then come back and spend a little time with their maternal grandma who is 89. Then back home where we will all relax.

DH announced to his mom that we're going to church service tonight before heading to their house for supper. I'm not quite sure who this man is, but I'll keep him. As for most of today, I fixed chicken and dumplings as my contribution for tonight, fed DH & DS leftover chinese food , and pulled frozen cookie dough out to thaw so I can make cookies for Santa. Now I just have to make the cookies before we leave for church & then to the inlaws. And since DH & DS are takign naps, I'm upstairs playing for a bit.

Cleaning the little bit that's left to clean. My mom just called and we have no desert for tomorrow, so gotta run to the store and pick up something. We're going to friends tonight to exchange gifts with them and then to my parents where we'll open one present tonight and see Santa come around on the firetruck. Then after the kids are asleep I have to finish wrapping a few gifts (for my husband) and of course put everything under the tree and the big one is putting together the kitchen we bought for my daughter. He was suppose to do it last night but fell asleep on the couch after I went to bed.

Well we just finished packing! In 16h and some odd minutes, we are leaving on a jet plane to spend our family holidays at Disney!!!!!

once dd13 gets home from a friends were going to make some brownies or cookies, or something of that nature, then watch a christams movie and (hopefully) go to mass at 9!

so far so good see above post, just chilling now waiting on DS16 to get home from work and will proceed to grill the steaks, just sitting here relaxing having 2(yes i said two ) glasses of wine some cheese and summer sausage maybe had the third one the other two went down pretty good.

I worked until 5:30. Picked up Chinese take-out for dinner. Waiting for my boys to go to bed so I can wrap presents.

They will go to their Dad's in the morning after we open gifts and I will clean up the after-Christmas mess, catch a nap and wait for them to come home in the evening.

Back to work at 8:00 am Wednesday,which is my oldest sons 15th birthday How did he get to be 15 soooooo fast????
