What is Disneyworld missing?

How about a ride themed after some of the old movies that don't have much of a presence at all, like how about a sherwood forest play area or ride. How about bambi, 101 dalmations, etc. Why are a lot of the older movies not represented well in the parks?

May get flamed for this, but affordable lodging choices for a family of 5 or for those who want more than a hotel room. I can stay offsite for 1/4 the cost of onsite and get many more amenities for my money.

Not everyone can afford for want to own DVC.

I also like the casino and bowling alley ideas.

i think it would be really cool if disney put in a park, or maybe just a section of a park that focused on the villians!! i'm probably the only person who thinks this, but i would just love it!!
Another Villan lover here! You are not alone.:goodvibes
I also agree there should be more boy stuff.
A Dunkin' Donuts on property(see my sig) or second choice, Starbucks
Tweak the bus system to make it more efficient.
Make it so guests can use refillable mugs in the parks too(yeah I know, keep dreaming!)

Please no casinos, there is Las Vegas for that. Disney is for families, not gamblers.

I LOVE the idea of quiet tranportation (ie golf carts) available around World Showcase. Especially when its really hot.

I need my venti iced vanilla latte every morning, and we had quite a time trying to find any iced coffee anywhere in the mornings at WDW - how weird is it that they have hot coffee in Florida in the mornings, but no iced coffee anywhere??? Those frozen mocha things aren't bad, but the stands don't open til later in the day, and the nescafe..... uh uh.
I know, I will make my own iced coffee in the refillable mug. It takes the edge off but nowhere as good as a DD iced coffee(Ha, can you tell I'm obsessed?)

Staying at a WDW resort is a convenience that we're willing to pay for. But the only perk right now is the optional DDP but that price increases every year and now they're talking about reducing it's value. Wouldn't it be nice to give those paying the extra price to stay on site a little 'thank you' by throwing in a freebie like free entrance to MVMCP?

I would love it if they had a Toy Story or just Pixar in general themed meal.

More thrill rides, definitely! More Boy stuff! My boys are 7 and 9. We'll see after our trip, but they do not seem that excited. We have gone to Universal about 4 times in the last 4 years, and I think they would be more excited about doing that again. We have not been to Disney since they were 5 and 3 and are thinking this may be our last trip. Especially with the new Sea World water park opening, they won't have much to entice us. It kind of makes me sad...but they want THRILLS!

Go carts would be great.

I probably would not spend time on vacation bowling.

I would love a casino. Even gamblers have families. It would tie in wonderfully with the boardwalk. But it would probably be like the indian run ones with no comped drinks. That is the only way I figure I break even. Free mickey bars while gambling, maybe?

More monorail would be awesome.

In Myrtle Beach they had this really neat place called Magiquest. It was an interactive game thing. Hard to explain. But it must be a real money maker. My kids loved it. Would tie in with Fantasmic Mickey or all the villains with magic powers. Really cool. I thought they needed to put one in at CityWalk at Universal, because THEY need more night time things for kids.

I hear indoor water parks are big up north. Maybe one of those winter time guests. I live in GA and do not think that you can swim year round in Orlando. We are very wimpy.

My first thought was a Starbucks...
I laughed, and agree, with a retirement home....
but the airline, THAT WOULD BE GREAT! :thumbsup2

All of the above plus a park with former attractions like Mr. Toad, Submarine Voyage, Alien Encounter, If You Had Wings, Horizons, etc...

I would also like to see a value for adults only. Chronologically speaking, after all, we're all kids at heart!:) (No flames please, I have 2 wonderful kiddos, but on the rare occasion we get to go without them, a "grown-ups" only resort would be nice)

Here's my idea: There are many die-hard Disney lovers who do not live in Orlando but who dream about working at WDW. These people would be anyone that can devote six months of their lives to work at Disney. It would be sort of like the Disney student program, with no college involved. ...sort of like the cast members on DCL without the water.

What I would like Disney to do is to offer these starry eyed folks on-property housing (The Legendary years at POP comes to mind) where they will live and commute to their jobs within WDW. What Disney would get out of it are loyal hard working enthusiastic people who actually want to be there and the worker would be able to fulfill their dream of checking seat belts on SM, making funnel cakes at MK, etc. and perhaps by the time the magic wears off, their tour of duty would end.

I haven't worked out any of the details, because it would never happen. Too good to be true. Just thought I'd share my dream.

:thumbsup2

I'd love to have If I Had Wings & Horizons back. I loved those rides.
While we're dreaming, I take the original Figment back too.

I think a casino would help out a Disney lover who's married to a spouse who's not into Disney. My DH is one of those spouses that has to be dragged along to the parks. I mentioned the idea of a casino, & peaked his interest. I love WDW, but don't gamble. He enjoys gambling, but not WDW. It sounds like a win, win situation to me. The way I look at it, if they put a casino on property, it wouldn't affect anyone who chose not to go in. I doubt they'll be forcing you to go through the casino to get to the parks. lol
