What is Disneyworld missing?

I'd like to see them develop a park in conjunction with Epcot/World Showcase called, "Ancient World"? They could add more countries (in a seperate park of course) by adding ancient Greece, ancient Rome, ancient Egypt etc.

Of course the logistics would have to be worked out but they got a lot of land not being used.
You mean like The Lost Continent over at Uni?

My morning coffee from Tim Horton's (donut and coffee franchise mostly in Canada for those of you living south of the border) is the thing that I miss the most while I am in Disney World. IMHO, the Canada pavillion at EPCOT is not complete without it.

Though, I would settle for half decent coffee in the parks. Some of the stands that sell only coffee (not nescafe) are okay, I guess.

Clotho-- they have karaoke after 9 p.m. (I think) at Kimonos inside of the Swan! It's a riot!

I LOVE the idea of a villain thrill ride-- that's perfect!

A bowling alley would be awesome, I would totally go. It would fit perfect in the DTD area.

I agree with Kingdom Hearts characters!

A casino would be great-- and I have been to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Florida, so I'm not sure how gambling could be totally illegal there... :confused3

All of these ideas are great!

What about hot air balloon rides? That would be a unique experience and something people could spend am hour or two doing, and you could have a nice, relaxing bird's eye view of WDW.

And I also agree about Starbucks. We stayed in Kissimmee on our last trip and the only Starbucks we could find anywhere near us was in Celebration. I'm used to passing a Starbucks every half-mile down the road. :coffee:

OMG, you're so right!! Tim Horton's coffee is the best coffee EVER! Thank god I live in Michigan and we have Timmy Ho's all around!

I believe it is operated and located on Indian territory.

WDW needs to bring back the RC Mass (and church services for other faiths).

The ONLY reason I even rent a car is so that my family and I can go to church. If the Mass were back on site, I could take Disney transportation everywhere.

Decent coffee

Ban pin trading with CMs

We are at WDW now and have had run in's with rude pin traders all day. If one more person cuts in front of me at a cash register to look at a CMs pins I may just lose it. (I need to post the funny story of the lady who lost it at a pin trader tonight).

I definitly agree with the coffee! I know Disney has enough money to offer something better than Nasty Nescafe!! BLECH!!!!

Bring the Square-Enix (Kingdom Hearts) characters like Cloud, Aeris, Sepheroth, Yuffie etc. into the parks!

Let me start out by saying that I would sort of like this too except for the fact those characters you listed are not Disney characters, they are Final Fantasy characters. I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan so this is why I know this, there are alot of characters in Kingdom hearts that were originally in other video games titled Final Fantasy. All the characters you listed are from Final Fantasy VII one of the most popular FF games. I however don't see a problem with seeing Sora and Riku at the parks since they are specific to the Kingdom Hearts game. I've seen people dress up as FF characters at the various anime conventions I've been too though.

1. More things for boys. I'd be a litte annoyed if I were the parent of a boy going to WDW.

2. Real thrill rides. White knucklers.

These are the only two reasons we plan to go to Universal in the future. If Disney had them, we'd never leave :)

I would like Disney to have 2 or 3 channels on our resort room TV, that did nothing but run Disney/Pixar movies 24 hours a day. :happytv:

It is nice to have something good to watch in your resort room when you are not feeling well or the weather is not cooperating.

I also would love to be able to get a good cup of coffee!!!:surfweb:

I think if Disney really wanted to, they could convince Square-Enix to agree to licensing for FF related attractions, in fact I think it would be perfect at least for a new land in Tokyo, near the home of Square-Enix.

The only bad part is that there's so much stuff covered in the games, FF games are all nearly totally different from each other, how could they choose what to build?

jemiaule what is your issue with pin trading with CM's?

That is the first time I've heard of someone disliking that. Maybe I've not paid attention though.

I would like to see something like a starbucks with lots of computers connected to the internet. Honestly, DH and I would like a place to relax while our kids stand in line for rides (young teens). We don't want to leave them at the park by themselves, but we do let them go off for short periods of time while we have a coke at a restaurant.

Also, I would like to see a Broadway type theater that has the Broadway shows at DTD (Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, etc.). We never go to New York, but we go to WDW twice a year and would love to see these shows.

Also, I would like to see a theater at MGM like the one at the California park that has the Alladin show. That was really good! They could show the Hercules show that is retiring on the cruise (we love that show and will miss it when it is gone).

I guess I want more places to sit and relax.

OH! And I like the idea of the Bowling Alley too! I wonder how it might do if it were put over by the Pop Century resort (goes with the themeing there).

DJ

Just wanted to add that last year there was talk of a Pixar Toy Story charater breakfast. My DN would have loved that and we had planned to surprise him with it, then they changed it to a Playhouse Disney breakfast, so we didn't go. I think a Pixar Character meal at MGM would be great.

I love the villian idea!
I would also love to be able to rent golf carts to get around the World!

Resort-Resort transportation would be nice. I would also like to see a value resort with a water slide. I would pay 15-20$ a night more for it.

What I missed most on our recent trip was 1. any kind of transport in Animal Kingdom and 2. something in Epcot that would go from the front gate to World Showcase. We spent our 1st 3 days in those 2 parks and while the ferry on World Showcase Lagoon was nice it just didn't make up for the long long trek from World Showcase to the main gate. We're a reasonably fit family but after those 3 tiring days it was a big relief to go to MGM, which is so much smaller, and to Magic Kingdom--riding the train from Main Street to Frontierland and from Toontown to Main Street made the day so much easier!
