What is Disneyworld missing?

A themed casino ! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Not going to happen. Gambling is illegal in Florida.

Ban all smoking on property!

I dislike smoking but smokers have rights too.

A retirement home.

Now that would be cool.

i think it would be really cool if disney put in a park, or maybe just a section of a park that focused on the villians!! i'm probably the only person who thinks this, but i would just love it!!

You definately aren't the only one who thinks that. Many, many people want a villians park.

How about a bowling alley?

Not a bad idea. I'd go there.

I am not sure what Disneyworld is missing, but I know that I am missing Disneyworld.

I am not a smoker but I think they do a great job accomodating everyone. My mom is a smoker and was very impressed last week that WDW had out of the way, attractive places for smokers. They were out of the way of children and passers by, they were mostly shaded and private. Even at the hotel she went to this little out of the way place by the lake at POP. I had no problems with smokers while there.

The bad thing is, not every follows the rules and smokes in the specific areas.

If smoking was completely banned (which isn't that uncommon of a thing, it is already a rule in some cities and such, I believe) and enforced, I wouldn't have someone blowing smoke in my face while walking through World Showcase or Tomorrowland. :thumbsup2

Also, I don't the smoking areas are all that out of the way. I feel like there was one located directly next to one of the entrances of the Pop Century lobby (or maybe it was the cafeteria seating around, I can't remember). How much sense that does that make?

But anyway... Disney World is missing a pet-friendly hotel!

I would love if I could take my two dogs with me to Disney World! I'd be much more open to the idea of going for Christmas day if they could go as well.

Decent coffee

Ban pin trading with CMs

We are at WDW now and have had run in's with rude pin traders all day. If one more person cuts in front of me at a cash register to look at a CMs pins I may just lose it. (I need to post the funny story of the lady who lost it at a pin trader tonight).

My first thought was a Starbucks...
I laughed, and agree, with a retirement home....
but the airline, THAT WOULD BE GREAT! :thumbsup2

Shorty Gambling is currently banned to a certain extent in florida, but dont be surprised if with 2-3 yrs the whole state of florida legalizes gambling. With all the Tax cuts the state will need a new source of income. Also i hate tot urn this into a rumor thread, but from what I have heard Eisner's original plan for boardwalk was to be some sort of casino along the boardwalk. Disney was one of the larger supporters to the last bill to pass clas 3 gaming.

As much as i hate smoke they do still have rights. Also Disney would lose alot of people as a huge portion of the European and Asian crowd sees nothing wrong with smoking. Would you travel 1000's of Miles to go somewhere you cant even smoke if you were a smoker?

I love the bowling alley idea! That would rock. And I agree about Starbucks!
:thumbsup2

My ideas--
*Rather than just a kennel, I wish they had doggy daycare. :dog2: pug: (random I know!)
*Ice skating rink (to beat the heat!:sunny: ) Heck, they could do a whole indoor winter themed place.
*Wouldn't it also be fun if there were a drive-in...like a real sci-fi diner!
*DD should have a scrapbook or paint your own disney pottery type shop!

A character shop. Complete with all kinds of costumes for kids and adults. It would have TONS of plush characters to buy similar to what they USED to have at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

I would like to echo those that have stated that they need more things geared towards boys. C'mon, let's get a character breakfast geared towards the boys. Keep your princesses and their overpriced pancakes, etc.

If they banned smoking completely then they would lose a LOT of business. No smoker I know can go an entire day without a cigarette. Why would smokers go to Disney, and take their families, if they couldn't have a smoke during the day? They wouldn't, they wouldn't be able to make it through the day. My last trip probably wouldn't have happened if smokng was completely banned as I doubt my uncle would have wanted to go as he smokes.

The problem is that smoking areas are not as well marked as they could be nor are the rules about smoking relayed to the guests well enough. I don't recall many, if any, signs on the way into the park informing guests that smoking is only allowed in desiginated areas nor does it say so on the maps. Also, some of the smoking areas aren't very convient and some are to close to other areas. It doesn't help some CMs do not want to get into a confrontation with a guest so ignores the smokers not in the smoking areas.

I agree with the pet-friendly resort idea.

I need my venti iced vanilla latte every morning, and we had quite a time trying to find any iced coffee anywhere in the mornings at WDW - how weird is it that they have hot coffee in Florida in the mornings, but no iced coffee anywhere??? Those frozen mocha things aren't bad, but the stands don't open til later in the day, and the nescafe..... uh uh.

I am down with honest to goodness thrill rides. Couldn't they MIX the villains and thrill rides?! THAT would RULE! And the scarier villain theme would be a perfect match for scary thrill rides! Whatya say??!

I am also down with a bowling alley. Karaoke is another one of those things I think people roll their eyes when I suggest it, but it is something I think that, in a themed resort like Disney, with the clientele that comes there, would just be a riot! I am down with anything like the already existing mini-golf courses and Disney Quest, where it is not a park experience, is mellower, stuff you do in between your park days, but keeps you on property still in the Magic (and putting money in their coffers).

1. The Electric Light Parade

2. An adults-only hotel or villa (like the Wynn Hotel in Los Vegas)

3. A quilting/sewing/cross-stitch and/or beading event or convention (maybe there is one that I'm not aware of)

4. A full-service Cheesecake Factory restaurant (more than Cheesecake Factory Express in DT Disney)

A character shop. Complete with all kinds of costumes for kids and adults. It would have TONS of plush characters to buy similar to what they USED to have at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney.

Yessir! And I feel it is missing the unique shops that USED to be all down Main Street and themed throughout the lands.

  1. The Indiana Jones Adventure (like Disneyland has)
  2. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
  3. The Indiana Jones Adventure
  4. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
  5. The Indiana Jones Adventure
  6. Journey into Imagination (the original)
  7. The Indiana Jones Adventure
  8. Kitchen Kabaret
  9. The Indiana Jones Adventure

And did I mention The Indiana Jones Adventure...
