What is cost when you add passenger to cabin at later date?

I couldn't find a variation of this question anywhere. I booked a cabin for a cruise next January. I only put my name on the ressie hoping to spread the cost out a bit. I had intended on adding my DH and two DS's fairly soon so we aren't shut out by capacity issures.

Here's my question: Today, I saw that the cost of this cruise has gone up on the DCL web site. When I add the other passengers, what will be their rate? Will it be at the original rate I booked at or the rate on the day I add them? I am not adding another cabin, only adding people to the cabin I already booked.

Their rate will be at whatever is the rate at the time you add them...they won't get your rate.

I have been considering adding someone to split the single supplement with me and found out there is a ship maximum that can't be exceeded so add 'em quick...

You know, I knew this. DCL basically said that. DU said that. But I was just hoping.....Darn.

Now, I'm totally freaking out b/c the DCL web site price keeps changing. I think somethings up with my cookies or something, b/c I went back in and it was back to the original price. How wierd. Guess I better get those other deposits in and lock into a price so I won't worry about it.

Now, what if I switch to a lower priced cruise or cabin at some point? Same thing, whatever rate it is when we change right?

P.S. Thank-you for responding right away Aprilgail2. Even though I knew what the answer probably was, I was still fretting and hoping for something different.
