What is considered a snack

How do you know if a certain food is considered a snack for the DDP, does it go by price or is there a special note by it saying it is a snack?

there is a thread somewhere with a very long detailed list of snacks.most everything is a snack if it is under $4

Look up at the top of the dining plan forum there is a sticky about it. But generally it is identified on the menu by symbol, under $4 , and a single serving item only.
