I've been noticing that after I wash a load of white clothes there are yellow/brown spots on my clothes!:confused3 Anyone ever have this problem and how can I get rid of them?

Thanks in advance!
:thumbsup2

That happened to me a couple years ago, turned out that the gasket on my washing machine had died and the spots were oil! :scared: My husband asked about getting it fixed and we were told that it would be cheaper to buy a new washing machine...which didn't hurt my feelings at all! :lmao:

Did they have yellow and brown spots before going into wash? if so maybe a change in diet. :rotfl2:

I hope that's not the problem!:scared:

Are you using chlorine bleach? Try switching to a non-chlorine bleach. I used to get yellow dots on our white socks until I stopped using bleach... now I whiten with a bluing liqiud, I forget the name, but it is sold near the bleach and is in a blue bottle.

Could it be rust? I had this problem from a dryer in a rental house once. We just stopped using it.

Same with DD.. They were about to get a new set anyhow though (the dryer was acting up too), so it didn't come as a big sticker shock to them..

:)

We have this problem here and there at my home. The washing machine is farily new, but our pipes are old. My husband thinks it's rust from the pipes. :confused3 It doesn't happen all the time though so I'm not overly bothered.
