what is bounce back guest w/free dining?

I read references to a bounce back guest program w/free dining? What exactly is this? My last trip to WDW was 8/06 and I am already booked for 8/11-17. Thanks!

Our family was on vacation at WDW in November and were offered a "bouncback". We had to book and pay a $200 deposit by midnight on our checkout day. The offer was for mid August-September and we got free dining. This offer was available to onsite guests in November and December.

We usually go in November but switched since our older DD was missing way too much work at school. We booked 8/25-31.

We were at POP Century Dec. 11-16 and were not offererd the bounce back! Probably a good thing, it would have tempted me to do a late August trip....Boy that would have been fantastic!

We were at CBR for a weekend in Dec and were offered the bounce back program. We always go in Aug. So we're booked at Pop Century Aug 24th to Sept 2nd right before school starts back

The operative concept here is the promotion is OVER. You had to be physically staying onsite at WDW during a period in Nov/Dec to qualify. Some dedicated savers actually made a special one-night trip just to qualify.

We were at ASMo over Christmas week and we knew about the offer from the Disboards.
The only thing in the room about it was a little flyer on top of the tv that said something like call this number to save on your next trip.
After about 4 or 5 days we noticed on our receipts from the restaurant that said the same thing.
I would never have thought that meant free dining.
The information we get here is amazing!
