What is a Tag Faerie?

I have seen it mentioned several places but I do not know what it means. Could someone help me out?

A Tag Fairy reads funny stuff you've said on the boards, and then puts it under your name on the side in a pretty color. See on the side of my post where it says Cinderella94, and then under it it has some stuff written? That's a tag I've gotten.

The Tag Fairy doesn't have a real PURPOSE, if you wanna think of it that way, the Tag Fairies just go around making people's days a little more fun

How do you know it's a Mr. It could be a mrs, miss, ms,mr. mr. esquier, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Butter Dude, a monkey in pink pajamas or heaven forbid, a UNIVERSAL STUDIOS LOVER TRYING TO PIN US AGAINST EACH OTHER TO DESTROY THE SITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAH.....AH.....Ah......ah.....o.k had another moment, the 37th today, I'm co-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, o.k. it's gone I'm alright until 5 minutes go by.SEE YA!

I love the mystery of the tag fairy. This is what I know for a fact about the tag fairy...

1. Loves Dole Whips
2. Reads the DIS a lot
3. Has a great sense of humor
4. Likes to leave people with over 1000 posts without a tag
