I have noticed folks that made ressies today mention the sideways cabins...what does that mean? Sorry to be clueless :confused3

On the classic ships, there are a few interior staterooms that run "sideways" - meaning you enter at the middle of the stateroom near the sofa, with the bed to 1 side and closet/bathroom to the other side. The "traditional" stateroom has you entering at the end and running long through the closet/bathroom area, living space to the bed at the end.

We loved the layout of our sideways cabin. The first time we got one, it was luck of the draw. The second time is because I requested it when I booked. While it wouldn't be deal breaker, I would try to get this type a room again.
