Hello,

This vacation, I'm going on a character quest. I'm making my own autograph binder, with cardstock with a clip art in the corner, so it is real easy. How many pages should I do, and what are some deffinate ones I should have? Here are a few questionable characters that I need opinions on if i should do....

1. Marie
2. Ponchito
3. Jose
4. Clarice
5. Jiminy Cricket
6. 7 dwarfs

ANY OPINIONS OR LISTS WOULD HELP!

Umm...are you doing any character meals? I mean, I could suggest places where you could definitely find places, but did you want repeats? I know some people don't care if it's the same character and want different outfits. As for the questionable characters, I've never seen any of them. LoL. Although some have been lucky to get Snow White AND the seven dwarfs. No fair! But anyway, let me know exactly what you're looking to do, or PM me. :)

looks like we added at the same time....... thanks soo much! I'm not doing a character meal, but will be attending MNSSHP!

I think someone posted the other day where to find jiminy cricket now in the parks. The dwarfs appear in front of snow white's ride with her and from what I understand they are photo only if that helps any.

We saw the Dwarfs at MNSSHP, but it wasn't in front of the ride, it was behind Dumbo. They don't sign.

Jiminy is appearing at Rafiki's Planet Watch at AK.

Ponchito & Jose are in Mexico at Epcot.

Clarice has been at the Hat at MGM, though last we were told she was no longer coming out - others have said she still does though.

Marie is supposed to start meet & greets - I've read at MK.

Have fun! Hope you find the ones you want. :)

You could always bring blank ones and if an unexpected character pops up at least you'll have the autograph and you can build around it. Buzz Lightyear has been by CoP lately and Woody and Jessie by the Saloon in MK. Tweedle Dee and Dum and Alice, White Rabbit and Queen are by teacups. There are so many more...any other specifics? :)

In the past you could check with guest services in the morning and they would have a listing of times and locations for the various characters. Don't know if they are still doing this but maybe someone else has more information.

Marie? As in Marie from the Aristocats? Never knew that character existed. Where is she?

what is a goal as in # of characters i should look for every day?? i will be there for 8 days, and have over 100 pages i made, i know i won't meet every character, but i just made them in case.

we are usually there for 7 days and end up with over 100 - so goofymania seems right on target

Wow! Lucky you! I was wondering what characters you saw........ not all 100 of them, but the more rare ones!

once again i love your collection

If you truly want to get all (or close to all you have pages for), by day 6 or so, go to guest services and ask them to check with the character hotline for you on some of the ones you have found yet. They will be able to tell you where and when they will be out that day. You can also do it from your resort room but they will not connect you. They ask you for the info and put you on hold, than come back and answer you.

Good luck

I don't know if Marie is going to be making an appearences. I heard that she was only going to be out for the big kick-off event. You never know though.

I don't think the Dwarfs are signing autographs. At MNSSHP, they usually just do photos (it's quicker than having all 7 sign). If Dopey is out by himself or with Snow White in the parks, he signs though.

The rest I would definatly make pages for. From what I've heard, they're pretty regular now.

As far as a goal, I checked wdisneyw.co.uk's Character Guide and it says that there are currently around 90 characters that are coming out regularly and a number that only come out on a rare or occasional basis. I'd probably say that 90 would be a safe goal (that's about 11-12 a day). Since you're doing MNSSHP, you might want to bump the goal up to 100.

I was there for 9 days i had 40 pages and needed more. I got no double autographs. This year I'm going for 7 and I have 60 pages ready. I probally won't use them all, but I'd like to have more then less this trip.

WOW! I so admire everyone's character finding efforts! You all have your priorities straight!! :teeth:

My best character trip (my first one hunting), me and my nephew met 85 characters. :) Sometimes your character numbers can go up if you hit a large group at the right time! If the ToonTown Train Station is being used, you can get up to 10 right there, and usually there are a few rare ones in the bunch! That location is VERY sporatically used, though - you just never know what days the characters will be there! :)

I think in all my hunting, the only characters that I met that I didn't have an autograph page pre-planned for were the Two Little Pigs, Pain, Panic, and Clarice. Those characters were quite the surprise! :)

goofymania101, Have fun collecting, please give us a report when you get home. :)

We don't do duplicates, and we count the ones that don't sign. Our first trip, we were in the parks 6 days, and found 50 characters. 2nd trip, in the parks 10 days, found 52 new characters. Last trip, in the parks 6 days, found 21 new characters.

On our Dec. trip, we hope to find 6 that are currently out that we missed, and 2 that were at MVMCP last year.
