What Is A Pal Mickey?

OK excuse my ignorance but this is something new since our last trip. What is a Pal Mickey? Is it a stuffed animal of some type?

Yeah, it's a stuffed animal that relates park info, showtimes, facts and games. They can be rented for $8/ day or purchased for about $50.

I was thinking this might be something for kids. It doesn't look like it is for us. I think that thing could get annoying really quickly and I have enough to carry around the parks as it is!
