My kids public school get the Jewish High Holy Days off ,Yom Kippor and Rosh Hashanah.Chanukkah is really not a big deal to the religion itself so I'd much rather we got YK and RH off.Lisa loves Pooh said:I guess I should have included the quote earlier. All religions don't use a tree---and coincidentally--not all Holidays are in the month of December.

I think that is a great way to incorporate both belief systems.
