What is a hard movie for you to watch

Another vote for Requiem for a Dream-truly haunting
Inside Out- so depressing
Life is Beautiful
The Pianist
My Dog Skip

I know it seems really weird, but Gansters Paradise was hard for me and I never watched it after the first time. In general I don't watch stuff that's hard to watch - I prefer to live in happy/funny/fantasyland lol.

I can't remember the name of it, but there was a movie I just could not get through. Collin Farrell was in it and he was a corrupt cop and there were some insanely horrible things in the movie.

- One was a drug dealery guy let a guy he owed money to rape his teenage daughter.

- Another was a cop put a hot iron about an inch away from a babys face to get his mom to talk...that was it for me and I left. I think that's the only movie I've ever refused to watch completely after starting.

Platoon....after the first time have never seen again from begining to end.....If on cable I always watch the begining and the Adiago for strings always stirs my soul...that I missed that war by 4 years...everyday I think of how could I survied the nam....when seeing the vets here in the Yuma community. I feel it is my duty to watch the opening scene...it is a hard movie, but it leaves a hard memory. And if I need a good cry to relive my stress....I youtube Adiago for strings.

Beaches
Life is Beautiful - speechless/unable to talk
Animal movies are tough

Dumbo. The "Baby Mine" scene renders the rest of the movie unwatchable for me. Total sob fest.
Absolutely....never watched the live action. Only watched the original once. I don’t care if it has a happy ending, it also has that!

I have never tried to watch anything about the Holocaust.

I cannot watch any movie where an animal dies. Not even Bambi.

Another one for this genre. And the same goes for books - if it has a dog and a shiny foil seal on the cover, I know to leave it on the shelf!

I saw Shindler’s List once, but I can’t rewatch it. I have never seen Sophie’s Choice or On Golden Pond.

What Dreams May Come

ugly, ugly cried my way through it. Now, there’s an extra layer of sad, because of Robin Williams.

I forgot about Platoon-one of the only movies I've seen in the theatre with my dad. I had to find that music(Adagio for strings) because it was heart wrenching yet such a beautiful piece.
