I was wondering if you can suggest a good room to book at the All Star Movies Resort? I have 4 kids and my youngest loves Toy Story. I would like a great room, but not too far from the pool or bus.

Also, we will be in Disney the week of the 21st. How is the weather there? Any chance we may be able to swim? We've been to Disney about 7 times, but never this early. Usually it's March. But being from northern PA, it has to be better than here!

thanks so much!

We stayed in Mighty Ducks and were VERY happy. Rooms had just been renovated - very new & fresh, the building is right at a very large nice quiet pool and laundry. The room was NOT preferred (that costs more) but we literally were only a couple minute walk to main pool and food court & transportation. (some people actually walked the other direction and got on Music transportation) We walked all around the resort and enjoyed taking pictures at Toy Story but liked where we were better. It appears the only really difference in the rooms is the movie poster hanging and the wallpaper border. Bedspreads and curtains were generic.

AND we went swimming in January, you should be able to swim

My first suggestion to you is to NOT request a particular room#. If someone is already in a room # you've requested, you won't get it and they'll end up putting you wherever. Your best bet to get what you're looking for would be to request just what you said you are looking for;) Call CRO back and have them add requests for "Toy story bldng." and "close to a pool and or bus stop" that way they look for a room that fits those requests.

As for the weather, I'm an hour and half north east of WDW and it's sunny and 60degrees at the moment. Feb. can kind of go either way so if you pack a little of everything from shorts & bathing suits to jeans and sweatshirts and even a jacket for at night, you'll be fine. It's been crazy temps lately as one day I'm wearing my jacket out during the day and the next I'm wearing my shorts and flip flops. Ya just never know....The pools are heated though at all the WDW resorts and the waterparks and the weather is definetly wonderful for walking around the parks. Have a great trip:wave:
