My friend is going to WDW nov. 15-22. She is interested in the Sheraton vistana. What is a good rate for a two bedroom and were would she get it?
TIA

email them and inquire about the discover and stay program!! We are going in March and we are staying 4 nights/5 days in a 2 bedroom, and it includes a day at Disney(for 4 of us), a day at a waterpark and a free meal and it is less than $500 total! But you do have to take part in the 90 minute presentation on one of the days.

Hi Taratink, I too am doing a timeshare presentation. Two bedroom 4 nights 229.00 with 100.00 back after the presentation. Then I added on 3 nights at regular rate I think was 259.00 night. I am probaly paying to much but we are going on Pres. week.

If you know anyone with a timeshare, VR often shows up for getaways at rates of under $80/night for a 2 bedroom based on a full week stay. VR also can be available through Skyauction. In either case, you would not have to sit through a ts presentation.

We have gone twice with a rate of $120.00 for 2 bedroom :cool1: . It is a non- housekeeping rate, which I liked (I tend to tidy up before housekeeping arrives, so with this rate I didn't feel the pressure to have the place clean every morning before we headed out:happytv: ).

I have seen this rate advertised off and on over the past few years. There is no time share presentation required for this rate.:goodvibes

Good luck with your search.:hippie:

There is a link on this board for a great deal. I just came back and paid $109 a night for a two bedroom villa.

I booked it through this site. Follow the links. I was supposed to get a king and two singles but they were doubles and I didn't complain. :woohoo:

I too booked through DU on this site with a special nurse rate of $99/night for 1bed/1bath. When we went to check in, we got bumped to a 2bed/2bath with no extra charge.

Also, DU made all my adrs for me at no charge.

We are going in June, How do I get a special rate for teachers? I clicked the link, but didn't see any thing about nurses, teachers,etc..:confused3

Ok, so can someone tell me what the difference is between Vistana Resort and Vistana Villages?

Villages
-the grounds are smaller
-close to Seaworld and Universal
-newer units
-one restaurants
-two pool areas
-easy check in
-fun activities

Vistana resort
-close to downtown disney
- a mix of old and new units
-many great pools
-huge grounds
-a couple of restaurants
-nightmare check in!
-tons of activities

We have gone to both resorts and we had a great time at both. The Villages are my favorite right now. I have young kids and it is more laid back there because it is smaller. The units are constisantly nice. We my kids get older I may like the resort better because there are more things to do there. You do run the risk of getting an old unit at the resorts.

We own a Condo at the Visana Resorts and we LOVE it...I Love everything they have to offer there...The pools are GREAT...We never have a problem checking in, Maybe it's becasue we get the VIP check in...But i LOVE it there...We are going in the end of May/June!

That was perfect....thank you!! :thumbsup2

do you take a shuttle to the parks when you stay here? or do you drive? my big apprehension on staying offsite is the dependence on buses to get to and from parks for opening, naps, etc. how are the shuttles at the vistana?

They have shuttles at Vistana? We're driving but DH now wants to bring his mom, who.....likes to sleep in. If we do this I don't want to be required to go to the parks late and leave early bec of MIL, but I'll feel better if there is a shuttle, we'll just leave her!
