If you don't particularly like the taste of alcohol, what drink do you order besides a soda, water, wine or beer? I would like a nice mixed drink, not too strong or alcohol tasting. What would you recommend?

Vanilla vodka and ginger ale. Tastes like cream soda. I also like vanilla rum and coke, which just tastes like a vanilla coke.

Bay Breeze or a Sea Breeze. Sweet, though.

I love the sound of the vanilla vodka and ginger ale. I know what I'm doing tonight!

I love coconut rum (Malibu or Parrotbay are my favs). It's pretty subtle :thumbsup2 I usually have a Malibu and Coke or a Malibu Bay Breeze. I don't like drinks with a strong alcohol taste either. Cheers! :cool2:

Another fan of vanilla vodka..

Amaretto sour is one of my favorites.

I really love Long Island Iced Teas...but sometimes they are made really strong..

Amaretto stone sours are my "wedding drink". I always get them at receptions. Pineapple juice and Malibu coconut is good, too. I used to drink vanilla vodka and diet, but I had a bad experience with it and now think it tastes too alcohol-ish for me. As far as wine, have you tried Moscato? It's sweet, light, and bubbly.

Long Island Ice tea. Potent.
Mai Tai's. tropical.
Sombrero's. taste like a coffee milkshake. lots of calories.
White Russian. Like a sombrero, more potent.
Margarita's. Good. subtle. Loads of calories unless you get premixed "Skinny girl".
I don't like martini's for the most part. They are either too sweet or too alcoholy. I just love the glasses. ;)

For me, gin and tonic. For a creamy drink, Brandy Alexander (brandy, dark creme de cacao, half-and-half) or White Russian (vodka, coffee liqueur and light cream) is good.

You might want to try a cosmopolitan (vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice).

Any fruity drink will generally cover the taste of alcohol -- pina colada, margarita, etc.

Have fun! :drinking1

whip cream vodka and orange soda. It tastes like an orange julius.

Actually, I was going to pick up some of the whip cream vodka today and make jello shots with it. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Try vodka, cranberry, club soda and a lime. Really you can put vodka in just about anything and not taste it, if you don't make it strong.

I agree, Malibu Bay Breeze-Malibu Rum, pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry juice.
I only drink a few times a year and it's my favorite(unless I'm having Mexican and then I go with a strawberry margarita)
You really can't taste the alcohol in a Malibu Baybreeze. Perfect for people who don't like a strong alcohol taste, which is why it's my go to drink.

margarita are sooooo good I had my first last weekend.... and my second, and my third.... lol

I'm usually a beer girl but they really are good!

:thumbsup2 I either drink a malibu and coke with lime, or a Malibu Bay Breeze (Malibu, cranberry and pineapple juice). Yum!

If I want a foo-foo drink, I will order a Miami Vice (it is like a strawberry pina colada).

Amaretto sour! It's my candy drink :)

I don't like alcoholic drinks where you can taste any/much of the alcohol either. My drinks of choice are a margarita on the rocks, amaretto sour, cosmopolitan, or just Sprite with some apple or raspberry Pucker.

Really, anything fruity is usually pretty good.

At Outback I love their Wallaby Darned! :)

There is something called an "Antioxidant Cocktail" that I got at The Wave lounge in the Contemporary and it was DELICIOUS. I also love the Grand Marnier Orange Slush you can get at a kiosk in France at Epcot. :thumbsup2

Grape or orange vodka with sprite tastes like grape or orange soda. Mmmm! A lot of frozen drinks are great -- daiquiris or pina coladas. Sangria is good (Olive Garden has a sangria to die for). Kahlua and cream or white russian. Mudslides. Blue Hawaiian. Purple hooters. Pineapple upside down cakes (honest, tastes like the real thing!). That's all I can think of right now.

Vanilla vodka and ginger ale. Tastes like cream soda. I also like vanilla rum and coke, which just tastes like a vanilla coke.

Ooh, thanks for the heads up on that. I'll have to give that a try next time I go out.
