I've read so much about them on here, and I have no idea what it is. I'm assuming some sort of ice cream. Someone explain! A picture would be nice, too.
Don't have a picture - but it is sort of like a pineapple flavored soft-serve ice cream (though I think someone said it was non-dairy -tasted like ice cream to me!). They only have them at Aloha Isle which is just over the bridge when you enter Adventureland near the Crystal Palace. They are very tasty. I always get the dole whip float - which is a the dole whip served with pineapple juice.
LOVE the Dole Whip! Here's a pic of me and 2 friends enjoying it a couple months ago. It's soft serve, I think it's ice cream and not frozen yogurt. I had pineapple/vanilla; my one friend had plain pineapple; and the other had plain vanilla all served on top of pineapple juice. Or you can get just the soft serve without the juice. It is SO yummy
Dole Whip is pineapple soft serve. There's is also a float version where the soft serve sits in pineapple juice. Chocolate and Vanilla are available flavors but the true DOle Whip is pineapple flavor.
Dole Whips are actually neither ice cream nor frozen yogurt. They are a "dairy-free frozen dessert", but they taste just like soft serve ice cream except better. The primary ingredient (besides sugar) is soy, but you wouldn't know it by tasting it. They're very good and very refreshing, especially the pineapple float. Wish I could find a place that sells them around here!

Yes but what I want to know is...Is a Dole Whip considered a "snack" on the dining plan. If it is I will be saving my snack credits for a few dole whips!
I just found out about 2 weeks ago that the little mom and pop ice cream stand that is about a 2 minute walk from my house has "Dole Whip" on their menu!!! Woohoo!!! Who'd've thunk that in the middle of Nowheresville, Maine there would be a lovely little establishment with the icey, creamy goodness that is Dole Whip just waiting to be consumed in mass quantities!! I have celebrated about, and when I say celebrated I mean got one, ahem, 8 times since I found out.
