what is a disney cruise like?????

hey!!!!!!!! im just wondering what the cruises are like. ive never been on one and my parents are starting to plan and im a little skeptical. my brother will be 19 and i am only 16. so i will be the only one in my family allowed in the teen rooms and stuff so im afraid that ill be lonely and/or bored. so if anyone has been on one i have a question for you. did you easily make friends??????? and what was it like in the teen places????? im just kinda worried about it. thnx all <333333333333333

they have alot of activities that lets you get to know people in the teen club, and it's not hard to meet people at all.

From personal experiance, I'd much rather cruise with other cruise lines. Yes DCL is fun and great when you can't go to the DL or DW or just want to take a cruise, but they are VERY VERY small ships compared to others out there. There are teen activities, but I think everything is geared more to the younger kids. I'm probably the only one who isn't all "Disney Cruises are amazing!", they are but compared to other cruise lines out there, well, they don't compare.

im 16 and my bro is 12 and we had so much fun i didnt think i would cause my madre is a disney freak but i was totally wrong it was one of the best weeks of my life make sure you go to the teen hang out you make new friends and i still talk to 3 of the friends i made on the cruise.

I have gone on one but I prefer WDW. I got bored very easily, and yes I did make some friends, I honestly don't remember her name now but she was trouble with a capital T! but I'm not gonna get into that story. and whoever said the ships are small compared to others is extremely right I remember pulling into a port and being like woah! and I thought our ship was big. and my opinion avoid the pools. there always crowded and and small and well like 3 ft deep. I had loads of fun at shows and meeting characters and stuff though!

and age 14 is best cause you get the stack and that new place
but take the wild side excursion(sp) and when you go kyacking flip the others lol

The cruise is awesome. I havent been on in it in awhile but what I remember a lot. I couldn't go in the teen club yet either but I hated the kids club but thats because I was shy then. The pizza place was awesome and the breakfast place was also really good. Thats all I can tell you because the rest I remember were for kids and the other was the ESPN Skybox but they was replaced by a teen thing.

I agree with Bridget. Avoid the pools. ESPECIALLY the Mickey pool. OMG that thing closes every single day for like hours because little kids poop and pee in it. It's disgusting.
