What was one of last year's highlights for you? For me, one was meeting professional recording artist Richard Stolzman who plays clarinet. He was giving a masterclass at the university of B.C. and it was open to the public. It was very inspirational seeing him instruct clarinet recitalists. I know I should practice my clarinet more, and he gave me some new ideas.

What about your highlights of 2003?

1) Getting my family life back in order.

2) This pregnancy (enough happiness to last through this year too :) )

3) My best friend and I made quite a few great memories last year.

4) I was able to start following my dreams and have taken several steps in the right direction :)

What a lovely thread!

Spending time with a friend from high school that I haven't seen in 26 years! :smooth:

My daughter was in the army. her safe return from Iraq in July. Her discharge and her being home again and she was home for Christmas for the first time in three years. Great year...

Good thread!

When my younger children were reassigned to their current school and knowing that it was the best thing that we did for them!:sunny:

Well, this question came up in my Monday morning study group and I thought it would be nice to hear & share in people's highlights.

I got to stay in my first Disney luxuary resort!

I was able to save up enough money for a down payment for a house!

I was able to get some of the bills paid down!

Taking my nephew who is 3 for his 1st trip to Disney World. The look on his little face when we entered MK and he saw the Castle . All he could get out was " Look at my Mouse Housh"

What a great thread !
Wishign you a Tagged night

For me personally it would be graduating from college at the age of 43!

As a family it would be our trip to WDW resort in Hilton Head.....just a great trip with DH, myself, our 2 DSs and a friend each, and my mom.

I hope 2004 will bring some happy memories as well.

I graduated from college, I really like my new job, and I was able to take 2 trips to WDW this year, something I never expected.

The birth of my second ds Matthew!

I got to go to Disney twice! Once with my boyfriend, and once with my mom. Had an absolute blast both times!
AND
I got a 3.8 GPA last term!!!

2003 was a good year for me! Starting in January, I confronted some past issues and am happy to say that my life is FINALLY moving in the right direction.

In March I had the chance to bring my mom out to RI to visit for a whole month. She had only met my son the once before (a week visit home when he was 9 months old). That was a great bonding time for them.

In August I got to take DS home to Utah to see my mom and grandma for a whole week. I also got to catch up with some old friends.

And last but certainly not least I got to spend the whole year with DH. LOL didn't want him to feel left out.

My happiest moments in 2003 was when me and the kids went to Disney/Universal during Easter!! It was the best time!! It was just wonderful!! It's one of the best "magical" trip ever. I'd like to do it again this Easter...but someone else got that week off...oh well...

Easy! I was dancing around the house when I found out that I'd made it into Collegium Vocale. It may not seem like a big deal to others, but it was a very important goal of mine. I didn't expect to make it. After my audition, I was already planning what song I would sing at next year's audition. I worked for many months and it ended up paying off. I go to every rehearsal feeling lucky to be there....:D

I got to go to WDW 3 times in 2003, 2 x with husband, son and daughter and once with husband and my parents. Just short trips but we were there.

I also found the DISboards, that is one of the highlights of 2003 for me.

My mom coming off chemo and of course the birth of my son!

I got to go to WDW with my mom 3 times in 2003, and I met a bunch of really great DISers in December. Hi John, Dan, Alex, Alisha, Carl, Ray, James, Linda, Len, Steven (and wife), Kathy (and mom), Linda, Michelle, and everyone else!

Krista

I have 3 of them.

One was the entire semester at school. I loved the class I took last semester.

Two, was going to Orlando and West Palm Beach to pick out our new kittens. My parents and I went, so I got to have one last family trip with the three of us. My dad almost didn't come with us. I'm glad he ended up coming after all.

Third was actually getting our kittens a little over a month later.
