Answer................

The number difference in the first ADR that I made at 180 days out, and the last one that I changed for our up and coming trip.

I was able to make ADR's the day after that it changed to 180 days and of the original ones that I made only one is left, I have changed every other one. Here is the line up.............

April 27 LeCellier for dinner
April 28 50's Primetime for lunch
April 29 Crystal Palace for breakfast (before park opens)
April 30 Chef Mickey's for dinner
May 1 Princess Storybook Breakfast
Wonderland Tea Party for the kids
May 2 Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner
May 3 Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast (before the park opens)
May 4 Pirate's Cruise for kids
Concoarse Steakhouse for supper
May 5 1900 Park Fare for early breakfast before we start the drive for home.

Now I am still considering adding the MGM character meal, but since we have 6 character meals already I might wait until we return to the World in 2007.

Interesting--. Often when I call to make multiple dining ADR's, the "number" will increase by 30--even up to 70--by the time I just get to the next ADR on my list!!

Always (sort of) ignore the last digit.

Just about all computerized reservations and numbering systems have a "check digit". There is a repeating series of numbers that each digit, in turn, is multiplied by. For example, if the series is "371" (which is very common) the first digit will be multiplied by 3, the second digit by 7, the third digit by 1, the fourth digit by 3 and so forth. All the results will be added up and the last digit is generated so when added to the previous sum the total will come out to a multiple of ten.

Using this series it is almost impossible to make an error when entering the reservation or account number into the system. Such simple errors as just keying in a digit incorrectly, keying digits in the wrong order or any other keying error will cause an error in the sum.

Two examples which are very common are the bank routing identifier on checks and all major credit cards. All payment accepting systems have these check systems built into them, so they can tell immediately if either the bank is incorrect or the credit card number is wrong.

Glad I'm not the only one to figure this stuff out.

What is 1,253,966 ?????

At 1st I thought it was the number of calories I had on our last cruise. But I realized I only had 1,253,699.
