What IPs would be in a new Universal park?

This is the only head-scratcher I have in regards to the plans for an inevitable third park. Universal's library is dwarfed by Disney (especially now with the Fox acquisition). They're already doing Nintendo in their preexisting parks. Aside from that what other IPs could they even do that would work? Seems to me they'll have to do more studio borrowing or expand on what IPs they already have. Not sure if I'm keen on the latter. Harry Potter in two parks only works cause the Hogwarts Express connects them together. I really can't think of what else they could do. Maybe bring back some old attractions they closed like Jaws?

What do you think?

The new rumor is Nintendo is being moved to the new park, except for Pokemon, which is going into the KidZone.

You could easily fill 1/2 a new park with Nintendo IP - Mario, DK, Zelda, Metroid etc.

I'd definitely take a new HP land even if not directly attached to the other parks (ministry of magic? Fantastic Beast?)

Key is that they have a ton of space. Rather than cramming as many different IPs in, I'd rather they spread out and have lots of diverse attractions on a few key IPs

I'd love another Jaws ride. Or use the space to create attractions based on IPs Universal own but haven't currently implemented in the parks. How about a classic monsters ride to go with the Monsters Cafe?

I've read rumors on various Orlando websites and blogs that a third park would include Nintendo (very likely, almost a certainty), a 3rd Harry Potter section (very likely, almost a certainty), Dreamworks-related attractions (very likely), possibly a Jurassic World themed section, and possibly a Lord of the Rings themed section.

And of course they'll be adding more and more hotels.

It'll be quite a while probably before most of these things are official, but I'd be willing to bet out of all the rumors that Nintendo and HP are locks, and Dreamworks and Jurassic World also make a lot of sense.

I actually would rather they came up with some original stories of their own. They can anchor the park with Nintendo and fill in the rest of the holes with new ideas.

Barring that, they could go for a video game park and try to get rights to Halo, Overwatch, things like that.
