What information will I be asked to provide when booking a cruise through Member Services? In the very near future, we will be calling Member Services to book our very first Disney Cruise :cool1: I have so much to learn about DCL! I have gathered that at some point there are decisions to be made: main or 2nd seating for dining, time for arriving (embarking?), etc. Should I be prepared to answer those questions when I call to book? Is there anything else that I should know?

We're so excited about taking our very first cruise!!!! We would sincerely appreciate any advice!
 
The following is on the member website for booking the member cruise. The same information would be required for any cruise booked:

Please have the following information ready when you call:

  • Membership ID Number
  • Stateroom category
  • Special dietary needs
  • Special medical needs
  • Castaway Club Number (provided to repeat cruisers by Disney Cruise Line)
For each person sailing, please have the following information ready:

  • Legal name and middle initial, spelled as it appears in print on birth certificate or passport
  • Home address
  • Home telephone number
  • Date of birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
  • Citizenship/Nationality

If you have a preference in dinner seating, let DVC know when you book as that's part of the initial reservation.

You select a Port Arrival Time during on-line check-in which you can complete beginning at 75 days prior to sail date for first time cruisers.
