what incentives are being offered for sarratoga. rep in dvc stated will be sold out in 90 days which would be late june. do you think they will offer more incentives to sell quicker, has anyone seen this on the older resorts?

The incentives are still the same, $10 off and gift card with minimum purchase. No, Disney will not "sweeten" the deal to seel out. The sales are moving along just fine, besides they will only have AKV to sell. AKV sales are moving very well, maybe to well, so it helps having SSR to absorb some of the sales.

I just bought SSR in the resale market. If you can I'd surely look there before buying SSR thru Disney. You should save at least $15/pt.

We are on the Magic now and for current members they are offfering, if you buy 160pts. they are offering $10 pt. discount, $500 gift card, $500 on board credit, no closing costs, 2007 pts. with no dues and prorated dues from purchase date on 2008 pts.

For 100 pts you get all of that but no $500 on board credit.

Be sure to get a referral from a current member, so you can get the $500 gift card. You just need to give the referral name to your guide before you sign the final papers.

I spoke with our (new) guide yesterday. He said the current incentives at SSR are: 2007's points, 2008's points with prorated dues, $10/per point credit, and $500 gift card. $320 for closing.

We are not memebers yet, so i assume this is for everyone.

Thanks for the info. I must have misspoke. I DO believe though that there is current promotion for those who are referred. The guides cannot tell you about referral promotions though, unless you have already provided a referral. That's why sites like this are so nice...we can look out for each other.
