There are like 3 posts about them!

Is it a Disney thing? A Florida thing?

I'm so confused. :confused3

Very comfortable shoes, that many find great for the parks. Here is a picture of my DDs at the Polynesian. We both have them and love them!

Search on crocs, and you will find MANY more than 3 posts!!!!

Yeah, they are hideously ugly shoes that people on these boards seem to love. I don't know what they're made of, but it looks like day-glo rubber. They are supposed to be really comfortable.

People on these boards say that doctors and nurses wear them, but they don't wear them in my hospital, including in the OR - or any other hospital in our area.

Although nurses wear lots of different shoes, the most popular is the Reebok Princess. It is super-comfy, and cheap to boot.

Not only doctors and nurses, but Balto Mario on Food Network wears them. His are orange. I saw Rosie O'Donnel with a pair on when she was on Martha :) My husband hates my crocs! They are so comfy!

There is lots of info on the DIS boards about Crocs. I was a little hesitant at first, but after reading about them I ordered a pair. They are an opened toe sandal style called Nile available on crocs.com. We very comfy and supportive for the parks and i love wearing them on the weekends with jeans. If you find the traditional closed toe clog style of Croc too ugly as some people do (I think they're kind of cute in a funky way) then you can try the Nile (sandal)or Athens (flip flop) style. The best part about these shoes besides the comfort is that they come in lots of great colors. check out crocs.com for all the info on these great shoes.

I'm a nurse and wear crocs at work. I was loyaly to Birks, but these shoes are like putting your feet in an egg crate mattress! :thumbsup2

I really don't see what is so ugly about them. :confused3

BUT.. with that said.. I am a major crocs lover. I cringe when I have to put on another pair of shoes.

For me .. I am not a slave to fashion. I would much rather be very comfortable and happy than hurting and miserable.

I also hate hate hate shoes (yes there are women out there like that ;) ) and I love love love my crocs.

I definately have happy feet in my crocs.

ahh...i see...

i looked at the website and may order a pair of the professional style in white.

but those ones with the holes on top...ehhh...no thank you.

You HAVE to buy some Crocs. I've had some for almost a year. I took 3 pairs w/ us to WDW a few weeks aago and that's' all I wore! They did fantastic. No blisters whatsoever. My feet ached somewhat at the end of the day, but just from a lot of standing still and I'm also overweight. But my knees, hips, back, etc. NEVER hurt, and not having to deal w/ blisters was delightful. Plus, you can get your feet wet in crocs and your feet will be dry again w/i 5 minutes!!

I have ordered some from the Crocs website and they are VERY slow and shipping is a little high. You woudl be better off looking for them locally (Dicks, Sports Authority, the HAllmark stores here sell them!). There is a website called Extreme Footwear that has NO SHIPPING charges, plus you don't pay tax. So you pay retail and that's it. Definitely check that out.

I was just at payless shoes today and they had a spin off of crocs (just as ugly) Does anyone know if the payless are just as compfy?

If you're planning on wearing them in warm weather, you may regret that decision. I've got a pair with holes (Beach style) and a pair without (Aspens), and I love them both, but I can only wear the Aspens when the weather is cooler, because you really do need the ventilation those holes provide otherwise. One of the (many) amazing things about Crocs is that even in the hottest weather, even after a full day of touring at WDW, my feet never smelled! I've never had another pair of shoes I could say that about.

Yes they are funky and clunkly looking.......
but they are by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Can't recommend them enough. People ask me about them all the time.... I just tell them they may look stupid but they feel great on your feet.

They are awesome for the parks walking around and even better by any water. You will never have to worry about the squishy tennis shoe feeling after being on splash moutain with Crocs on! pixiedust:

The are tempting based on the wonderful reviews here but I will have to keep my eyes down to the ground to see if they are being worn around here in any number. I have seen three whole pair that I know of. All guys. Two HS students, one very artsy and creative, one very introverted and strange.........and then there was the cross dresser in SF, CA. His were hot pink but hey, they matched his floral skirt. I think I need to see a soccer mom wearing them I guess, or any kind of mom :confused3 around here.

The Athens design (the ones that look like flip flops) don't look all bad. Some of the color combinations are ugly, but I think I might try out the turquoise and white pair..... :scratchin

I love my Crocs. I have arthritis in the knees and hips as well as sciatica and back problems. While I am not pain free, the Crocs greatly reduce my pain. Since I am on my feet a lot either teaching or interpreting I couldn't live without my crocs!

Or you could be the first, and be a trend setter!!!!!

:thumbsup2 to Crocs!

I bought my first pair about two months ago. We are going in June and heard so much about them that I wanted to try them out before we go. I love them. The guys I work with make comments but I just tell them how comfortable they are. I have the khaki color but I'm going to buy a bright yellow or pink to wear in Disney. I tried on an off brand at Target and could immediately tell the difference when I slid it on. I'll stick to Crocs.

Ya know I bought them for dd 8 and dd13 said NO WAY :crazy2: . I had no Idea they were crocs. I just thought theywere perfect for the pool!
