DH and I went back up to Lake George to celebrate a friends birthday. He wanted us to go away with them and we told them we couldn't and then surprised him there. The 4 of us had a great time. I got a lot of pictures so I'll post in batches.

It's not quite...but I went to a festival at the weekend. I'm going to call it Farmer's Market for now.







I got there so early, it was practically Empty*. Yeah Me! I was so early, they will still setting up.






This is how Roti is made by a Craftsperson at Work*. You have to be able to stretch the dough to this thin without any holes.






And then you fold it up.....just like make puff pastry.....







....and cook it over heat. When cooked it should be light and fluffy. Just Delicious with a serve of curry gravy.








I got lucky at the festival. There was Cotton Candy, being Made*.

We went to the track 2 days, a place near and dear to our hearts.

The canoe in the infield is repainted annually with the colors of the winner of The Travers Stakes race

It was ARMED FORCES day at the track and there were UNIFORMED SOLDIERS there

Emergency with Veterinarian at work - Mandola went down on the backstretch during a Steeplechase race. His jockey William McCarthy did the right thing and kept him down till the track vet got there (the man bending over with the red shirt) .

He was down a long time, but then he got up and here they are putting him into the horse ambulance

In the winners circle the jockey is showing a lot of Emotion

Veterinarian at work - Junior Alvarado pulled up Pulling G's in the backstretch, he was walked back to the barn with a slight limp
