What I'm Focussed On - Merry Christmas Lights

My home decorations can't compete with these BEAUTIFUL photos but couldn't think of a better way to end the 2013 Christmas photo thread than with our favorite character:

Your home decorations are beautiful, Goopy. Love the Mickey ears. Thanks for sharing.

Happy New Year to you too.

Weird question, but when did you take this picture? We were there last week (in the freezing cold)!
It's beautiful by the way!

We are in Portsmouth now! Such a wonderful town--it's making me sad I have to go home on Sunday!
Didn't I tell you you'd like his pictures from the area? ;)

Nice job, Princess! Beautiful pictures, everyone! :goodvibes

I'm stealing this idea next year, love it!

VIVA LAS DISNEY...:lmao: "Steal away" :lmao:; I got the idea from a post on Disboards a few years ago! Sooo easy...1 large wreath, 2 small ones; 1 set of 100 lights on the small ones~2 on the large one; bind together and DH made the bracket for me so the "December winds" wouldn't tear it apart. I've had lots of complements on this wreath!

Thanks PRINCESSINOZ...our house "places" every year in the Chamber of Commerce home decorating contest. We've "scaled back" the past couple of years on the number of lights but still have between 12,000/15,000 total. I'm getting TO OLD to do this every year! :rotfl2: :tink:

Hope everyone is having a happy new year so far! The photos are a joy to see.

I know... I'm very late to the table. I only just found the time to sit down and go through the memory cards I filled over the holidays.

Here are a few using our tree to create some bokeh.

:thumbsup2 Princess...amazing as I expected they would be! :thumbsup2 I can't tell you how refreshing it was to see the huge MERRY CHRISTMAS on the buildings. We've become so "politically correct" the HAPPY HOLIDAYS phrase is used. IMO it's MERRY CHRISTMAS and I love saying...and seeing it! :yay: Wishing your family best wishes during this beautiful time of the year! Hugs to all  and MERRY CHRISTMAS! :tink:

Merry Christmas 2015 everyone.

This year, we got the Everything is Awesome Lego Christmas tree in Federation Square, Melbourne.

The Town Hall projections was all about the 12 days of Christmas this year.

I'll post all 12 days on the Building Projection thread.

It's been particularly warm in Melbourne. Perfect for heading out and capturing the outside Christmas lights around my neighbourhood.

I've also been "playing" at home! My christmas tree....

....which came with live ornaments this year!

....and all sorts of bokeh hearts.

Merry Christmas everyone!
