Hi all,
Well, I'm down to 30 hrs before departure and I'm sooooooooooo excited! I want to say thanks to everyone for the info that is here because it has been so helpful for my planning efforts.
What remains is a bad case of the "what ifs" as I plan my romantic getaway! Please respond to me as soon as possible because I wont have much time to check between now and my departure! I know I'm a worry wart but I'm just nervous after reading some posts about cleanliness and travel issues at POR. Feel free to indulge me...
1) What if I get to POR and it is a disaster? For example, what if my room is not clean and theres moldy yellow stuff in my bathroom? What if the room does not feel right? What do I need to say to the front desk... I'd certainly appreciate anyone's advice (especially anybody whose worked in the hotels before who might have an opinion on how best to handle the situation!)
2) Maybe the bus service will not be as bad as I have read about. But what if the buses are constantly difficult to get? Is Epcot far? Could I just walk there and take a monorail or a bus from Epcot to another park? Is there another resort nearby that has a better bus system and could we simply walk there instead?
3) Are there ever upgrades? Is it possible that if things aren't working out there after a few days that I can go and tell the staff that I'm unhappy with my room/hotel and the resulting Disney experience?
I'm hoping POR is as romantic and wonderful as I've read in so many posts. But, just in case, I want to know that I have a backup plan and some words already worked out in my head to ensure the best possible anniversary!
Thank you again for all the great info...
