What if someone bought something from me and then after I shipped the item I get an e-mail saying paypal had the wrong address ?? Has anyone ever had this happen ??? What do I do !??! :confused3 :confused3

This has not happened to me, but it should return to you as the sender , as undeliverable. In my opinion it is the buyers responsibility to keep her account profiles {in this case paypal} up to date. I wouldnt concider this your responsibility. I would write to the buyer and let them know that when the package comes back to you, you would gladly ship it to them at the correct address for the shipping fee.
That of course is my opinion and some might go another route on this one to keep from any possible negative feedback.
Hope it all works out.

This happened to me last year and I refused to credit the guy. It was an expensive, irreplacable figurine. It is the buyers responsibility to maintain updated profiles.

The key is to tell the person this, and tell them it should be returned to you as undeliverable. You will have tracking that it shows delivered to the address in their profile.

Just don't let it get to the point where Paypal is involved. Paypal will always 100% of the time side with the buyer.

Thanks so much for your replies, you are all so helpful !!!!!!!!
