What if we don't want to use the Magic Band?

I'm sure there have been posts about this before, but I couldn't find any. Please forgive me if this is old knowledge...

My husband and I will be staying at POFQ in September. I haven't been to WDW since this whole Magic Band/Fast Pass+ thing, so I'm trying to figure it all out. If we don't want the bands but want the cards instead, what should we do? We booked our trip through DU, so I'm not sure if it's something I can take care of on my own or if I should talk to them about it.

You don't have to use them if you prefer to not. We find them very convenient. How about customizing your magic bands and that way, if you decide to try them, you won't be stuck with the gray bands of shame? I believe that when you check in at your hotel you can tell them you would like the cards.

If the resort won't issue them, take your legal photo ID to any Guest Relations outside any park and
ask for a ticket card there.

If the resort won't issue them point them to their website and the privacy policy/terms an conditions of the MBs where it clearly states that resorts will give cards if you don't want to use the MBs.
