We want to go to a WDW Park - not sure which yet. We have always travled in summer. What if we go while it is more like winter in the northeast - then get to WDW, can not get into our resort room, and want to go to a park.

We'll be uncomfortable in jeans. We can always do a t-shirt under a sweatshirt.

Suggestions ?

What have you done? please :)

Wear rip-off pants. You'd have long pants, then when we get to the airport, we rip off the bottoms and voila, instant shorts.

Run, from the parking lot to the airport without wearing a coat! ;)

DW and I were just discussing this for our trip next week. We decided we could change in the airport before we left since we won't be out in the cold anymore at that point.

I always wear jeans in the parks because I just don't wear shorts. Ever. I've never been that hot because there are always cool places to go.

Your other option is to bring a change of clothes and change when you get there and keep your other clothes in a locker until you leave the park. :)

Don't count on it being super warm either. I've been to WDW in Dec & Feb and it was freezing both times. ;)

I always carry a pair of shorts/capris in my carry on if we are going when it is cold here and will arrive in 80's. It's pretty easy to change in the bathroom at the airport and store away those long pants 'til you are ready to leave to return home. The kids are so ready for summer, they just wear their shorts no matter when we are leaving.

You could use the changing rooms at the pool to put on shorts. I have also changed at the airport.

Before they take your luggage to storage, take out shorts and change in the restroom. Put your jeans in the luggage, then check it into Bell Services.

I always dress for my destination. Often I've trudged through our PA airport parking lot over several inches of snow, clad in cargo shorts and sneakers, which are what's needed once at MCO. It's a few minutes of chill, but I'm ready for Fla.

when we travel during the winter months down south to wdw, i wear a sweater over a shirt, which can always be taken off & put into our luggage when we arrive to wdw. normally our room is ready when we arrive in the afternoon.

i would put a pair of shorts in your carry on just in case for morning arrivals & just change at the airport or at the resort washroom/swim area. then enjoy your day.

We always take shorts and tank tops in our carry on, and change at OIA, we have also done this on the way back, change in PHL and go out to face the cold! You could probably change on the flight down, in the lab, if you are double jointed!!!

That is what we do. Works out fine.

There are lockers at the front entrance of each park - overdress and then when you get there strip down if you have to
