What if I run out of toilet paper?

We are staying at OKW in October. We are renting our one bedroom unit, our first time doing this. We have stayed at OKW before, but that was directly through CR, so we had daily housekeeping<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/3/3_2_8.gif' border=0></a>.

My DMIL is concerned about what supplies we will need. No one wants to be around DFIL if there is no toilet paper.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_3_1.gif' border=0></a>

Could anybody out there clue me in on what we will be supplied with and if replacements are available or we should just bring our own?

Thanks!

I don't think that we've ever run out of TP while staying DVC, but I'd assume that this is one of those things that you can call housekeeping to replenish.

I doubt you'll run out of TP, it is fully stocked--one roll out to use and two or more under the sink or above the toilet. You can call housekeeping and they will bring you more as well, if you feel you are in danger of running out. The only thing we have ever run out of and had to call for is dishwasher detergent. Now I just throw a few of those tabs in my luggage just in case. In a studio I have run out of paper plates, but they were also replaced upon request.
Have a great vacation!::MickeyMo

Your room will be fully stocked when you check-in, just as with was when you stayed there with a cash ressie. You will not receive daily housekeeping or fresh towels, soaps etc on a daily basic.

Basic supplies like TP and paper towels (if needed) will be replenished with a quick call to housekeeping, but there is almost always an extra roll of TP, a box of Kleenex, and paper towels under the cabinet.

it won't happen - housekeeping makes sure you have at least a roll in back up -

they will check it every day with you going thru CRO - so don't even worry.

I think they will also do your dishes and I think if you load the washer up they do that too.

as well as clean up the place.

If you're that worried, bring some extra in your suitcase!

:earsboy:

If the supply looks low, I've just asked housekeeping or the attendant with the cleaning cart and they've always provided a few rolls.

I am married to a man who can go thru a roll a day.... Dont ask, it isnt pretty! (this falls into the catagory of things I wish I didnt know about my husband)

Just call housekeeping and they will send up some rolls.

Although virtually everything that is consumable can be replenished by calling mousekeeping, they probably will NOT give you additional laundry soap. You may want to bring some along, as well as stain remover, dryer sheets, or whatever other laundry supplies you might need. A single-load detergent box is provided when you check-in and another is given on trash and towel day.

We've had this happen and just called mousekeeping. They had more in the room by the time we returned later that day. Not a problem to worry about!

TP is one of our 'must buys' when we stop at the grocery prior to checking in - I HATE all WDW TP. Last time we stayed at the HRH after BWV, one of my early reactions was 'this is what WDW should be using'.

One of the nice features of OKW is that they don't trim back the vegetation much. With any luck, you should be able to get a handful of leaves right from your balcony if things get desperate. Personally, I'd stay away from the palm fronds.

Or you could quietly grab a few extra of those lovely brownish WDW napkins available at all counter food places throughout the parks.

Other than that, we've found that they stock the units with plenty of extra TP. :)

Maybe this is why OKW refused to cut back the vegetation around the rooms. Just in case there is a TP shortage, every one at OKW will be covered!!:p

Too bad the rooms at OKW are so big. If they were the size of the other resorts, you could sit on the can and reach out the balcony, no problem. (How am I doing, Rich?)
We would be able to lower OKW maintenance fees (already the bargain of DVC) even further because of all the saved money for TP.

One of our guests at bwv a few trips ago asked "so...how many points does it take to get good TP?"

Maybe my family is just full of it ;) but we always have to call mousekeeping for more toilet paper.:o
