What if I dont like my state room assignment

What if I don't like the state room that DCL assigned me? Is there a way to have it changed? Would this all be easier if I just transfered the whole thing to a TA?

It depends, did you book your room as a 'gty' or guarantee? If so, there may be little hope of changing your stateroom - give DCL a call.

If you booked far in advance and don't like the location, just call DCL and see what staterooms they have available.

Every travel agent must go thru DCL just like you do, so it really wouldn't help to go thru a travel agent for a specific room assignment.

I booked a Cat. 3 for Nov. 6 7 night Western about 14 months ago. After doing research on these wonderful boards I called DCL and changed my room #. About 2 hours later after more research I called and changed it again. The next AM I changed it one last time. We are now in 8032 one of the larger Cat. 3 staterooms and couldn't be happier. For what you are paying, if there is a different room available in the same cat. then you should get it. BUT like the other poster said, you may be stuck if you had a GTY. Good luck and don't worry all staterooms are wonderful!!
