What if Florida takes over WDW ?

In reality most states are around 50/50 or 60/40 when it comes to political leanings. I can’t imagine boycotting a state because 50-60% of the people vote differently that you. That’s would be kind of strange.

People are making an issue that some visitors come to Florida but don't spend money "outside" like at a local business because of the State's political leaning.

Actually, I don’t care why someone chooses or chooses not to spend money somewhere. I just care when people make grandiose statements and then pretend they meant something else. Most people who only go to Florida for WDW don’t make it a point to state they do their best to not spend a dime outside the bubble in a politically charged thread about a very politically charged topic. I dislike Massachusetts and almost every person I’ve ever met from there, but I still spend money there when I have to and wouldn’t pretend I do it while holding my nose and say it’s nothing personal.

Reedy Creek was set up so Disney could control its development.

What really bothers me is when someone who absolutely had nothing to do with the success decides he needs a piece of the action. I have nothing against Florida, many in Florida worked very hard to make WDW what it is today. But we are seeing the Johhny Come Lately want to run the party

I'm not concerned with leanings I visit attractions/locations/etc because I enjoy the experience. Period!

This is what I wanted to say. Every state has good and bad and also has all kinds of people. Even the states with a reputation for a certain style of politics have elections, and they can be closer than you think.

Well yeah were a very divided country. Most elections come down to less than a percent. It's not like the olden days when presidents used to win by landslides.
