What I won from the everest competition

OK so those of us that didnt win the eversest competition probably dont realize it but we won more than a 3/5 pin.

Sure you might be disappointed but you just have to reflect on the weekend.

For me I got to know a few DIS'ers that I never really knew that well. I spent alot of time with deserrtcat, lifeof, cazalet, canadian, friend, and red. What great people they are and I can prove it!!! They put up with me for hours!!!!

Rolls, I am not talking to at the moment because she hit me all weekend. I may never speak to her again in fact... or at least until tomorrow

Of course the best part of the weekend was , when green followed me in the backdoor to boogies mountain, and I blocked the door so she could not get in. I got a case of the DC blues, but when I returned I found out, she went right before me. I WIN!!!!

now back to business... who wants to trade an everest chair and a top ten pin? WOOT!

But yes, the most valuable experience of the weekend was spending so much time with our team members. Several people on our team put a lot of hours in that room, and we sure had a lot of laughs, and some great friendships were built or further strengthened.

The last couple of hours, watching the olympic closing ceremonies together was probably one of the best times I've had on VMK. We shared a lot of laughs over the ice cube chairs in the closing ceremonies, and the angry ice skaters. We took a ride through our ride as a team at the end of the event, and went back to base camp and hung out a little longer.

We put a fun ride together for a team that put zero planning into it (many people used rooms they already had), and who were just in it to have a good time. And we did.

Team boogies will go down in infamy! Woot woot!
