I spoke with store manager at the store in a nearby mall. She honestly did not think you could cash the card in for Disney $--but she decided to look into it.
She called the "home office" and they told her that you *could* use the Disney store gift card (she used the example of, "if it has like Mickey Mouse on it"--which mine did) for Disney $--like if someone gave you this card.
You, however, cannot use the little store issued paper cards like you get when you by X amount of $ and then get a $10 off card to be used between certain dates--THAT card you cannot buy them with.
I cashed in $400 in $10 and $5--will save the receipts like someone suggested just in case for cashing them back into cash. However, I doubt any will be left after our trip in October!!
