What HS Restaurant would you choose?

Another vote for 50's PTC. I don't even really like Brown Derby. I expect more from the price of their food. I had the smores for dessert in June from 50s PTC and they were so awesome!! I haven't ever had anything there that I didn't like.

Does any one know If you can order the cobb salad for lunch?, I did not see It on the lunch Menue only the dinner one.

:thumbsup2 Thanks everyone!

I think we will go with 50's PTC or Sci fi. Can you tell me what it is like inside those places. We do have kids so if you think they will like it.....

Kids will like both of them. The Sci-Fi tables are in old cars, and it is dark inside with a movie screen. It is like you are at a Drive-In and they play clips of old sci-fi movies. 50's PTC is set like a kitchen table at home in the 1950's. Your server will be a "cousin" or "aunt" or "uncle" and will demand that you set your own table, will watch and criticize you for elbows on the table, and will harass you to eat your vegetables. I personally hate that place, but my kids love it. lol I am more of a quiet elegant meal that does not involve public humiliation type of girl. But thats just me. If you go, make sure you try a Peanut Butter and Jelly Milkshake. May sound gross but it tastes really good. The highlight of my several meals there. LOL

Glad you posted! I don't think I would do the 50's PTC then. Sci Fi maybe....we will see. I assume because it is Disney that the Sci Fi movie clips are ok for kids....
My original thought was Momma Melrose but there wasn't a lot of comment about that one. Maybe I'll still try it and make my own opinion.
thanks!

50's is an experience, do not count it out because of what I say..lol A lot of people love it there and have a lot of fun. I just get annoyed easily. :goodvibes
I ate at Mamma Melroses in August and I really liked it! It is not huge on experience like Sci-Fi and 50's PTC but the food is tasty and the service is good.

There is a link on the resturants board that has pictures from all of the resturants menus.

One is by KellyMae and is a categorized listing and then there is the Disney Food Pictures.... part III that has pictures as well.

I dont know how to post a direct link.

Here's my 2 cents:

Brown Derby - not kid food friendly- therefore we havent tried it

50's PrimeTime Cafe- kid friendly food and lots of fun- theme is a 1950's kitchen at mom's house, we have eaten dinner her twice and liked it both times

Sci-Fi- lunch is better than dinner- they have good burgers and shakes- but we didnt care for the rest of the menu- theme is 1950's drive in theater type with seating in cars- the sci-fi clips are black and white of things like "The Blob" , it is also kinda dark - for us it was a one time event

Mama Melrose- tried this one for the first time this past October and I was pleasantly suprised. I have read reviews where some kids didnt like it but I think if your kids would be happy with spaghetti and sauce then they would like it and there are several adult options. We ate there for lunch and I tried eggplant for my first time ever and it was really, really good. My friend had the shrimp and pasta dish and it too was delicious. This resturant is kinda tucked away and can be hard to find.

Also there is a listing of menu choices here on wdwinfo.com and allears.net.

Hope this helps and if someone can help me learn how to post a link I would appreciate it.
