What hotel is near Crossroads outside of DTD?

I'm looking for an inexpensive, but decent hotel in the area outside of Downtown Disney near the Crossroads for one night before checking into Boardwalk. Any suggestions? I'm hoping to hit Winn Dixie for a few groceries in the early AM(about a mile from DTD I believe,)before checking into the Boardwalk.

There are a few choices for you but the best value is the Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista. It is around $70 and includes continental breakfast (which had a pretty good selection) The only thing about it is that it has exterior hallways. If you prefer something with inside corridors try the Country Inn & Suites. Both are within a 3-5 minute drive of DTD. I have stayed at both and the CILBV is just fine for one night. My parents are actually there for 4 nights this week and they said it is fine for the money and the pool is very warm!

Sheraton Safari is another option, located just north of the Downtown Disney entry to WDW property. Doubletree Club Lake Buena Vista is another decent option, almost next to (ok, a couple of doors north) the DD entry to WDW.

Fairfield Inn at Courtyard by Marriott looks good value, although it is on the east side of I4 so a longer trip to Crossroads by a minute or so?

Another vote for Fairfield Inn. We stayed there last December since we had a late arrival and then checked into Boardwalk the next morning.

This is a new complex and very clean. We liked the security guard shack at the entrance and the complimentary breakfast. It was just around the corner from the new Publix and walking distance to the Bahama Breeze where we had dinner. Our rate was $58.
