I just wanted to post a reply to say a big Thank You to everyone who provided me with much-needed advice.
We spent last week at WDW and the GAC was a God-send. They also gave me a sticker that went on the stroller so that it would be recognized as a wheelchair. Everyone was so nice to us and provided my son with the comfort he needed. Having the wheelchair access, away from the crowd, was extremely helpful. I can only imagine how different our experience would have been without the assistance.
My son took his "blankie" on every single ride and it helped give him the security he needed while away from the stroller.
