What have you seen is a Disney park that made you shake your head?

The parent that hits the child.

Please try this when I'm at the park and watching you.

I promise you'll never strike a child again.

So you will beat them up?

I haven't read this entire thread BUT I do agree with the OP that I would rather my children not bring their GBoys because they can play them at home. But with that said, I do have a child with special needs---even though he doesn't play a GBoy my friend's child does. She mentioned how much this helped her son while he was waiting in line. He has autism and you don't know anything is wrong just by looking at him. It helps him prevent meltdowns by getting his attention focused on the little screen and forgetting the happenings around him. So just a reminder to all that sometimes we are quick to judge but there may be other reasons people are doing things. So if you see my kid eating his ice cream in a dish without a spoon or wearing his shoes on the wrong feet or any other strange thing---it may just be because he chooses to and we as parents choose not to make an issue so that we can just "get through our day". Thanks for letting me explain and vent a bit.

Adding to this post---since I didn't read but the first page of posts I'm now seeing that there has already been some posts on special needs kids. Didn't mean to add to the flaming that I am thinking may have happened. Guess I should have read the entire thread. Oooops. Anyway...my little 2 cents.

Pick Pockets!!!! Three trips ago I was walking through the little tunnel that takes you through Cinderellas Castle and it was very crowded. Three people bumped into me extremely roughly (And I'm a martial artist so am extremely used to being beat up) and tried to pick pocket me! Fortunately I caught their wrist before they had a chance to run off with the $50 bill I had in my pocket and they got scared and ran off, but that was the thign that left my husband and I shaking our heads for the rest of the day. We reported them but still don't know if they were caught or not. I just hope no one got ripped off by them. They had a team thing going, two bumped into you while the other grabbed money out of your pocket. I've since learned to not keep money in my back pockets!

I thought this would be a fun thread but after reading the comments to the parents of autistic children, I'm just sickened. I can't believe that people would have the audacity to to tell people with an autistic child they should not take them to Disney lest other people be annoyed when they see them with a gameboy.
