I know that Goofy sometimes rides "his" roller-coaster at Toon Town and I have heard reports of characters water-skiing at World Showcase Lagoon. What unusual things have you seen a character do?Thanks. :)

Well I don't know how *unusual* this might be, but once while at Toontown character meet and greet, we got pulled out of line by a CM stating we had been picked to take the back way in and meet a special friend waiting for us. DD and DS took pictures with Tigger and others and got autographs. When we were about done, we were lingering and Tigger came back up to us, took DD in his lap and he crouched down to the ground and started to BOUNCE around the room with her (in his lap!!) in a squatted position!!! It was so cute and DD laughed so hard, she was ecstatic!!! We got the best pictures!!
I've never seen Tigger bounce before at WDW or DL!!! It was just the best moment ever!! :goodvibes :cloud9:

Whoever the person was in that costume must have been really strong!!! ::yes::
:tigger: :tigger:

I saw Minnie on a boat at AK.
Stitch took my Stitch doll and ran away with it. When I went over to get it, he shook his head, pointed at the doll, then pointed at himself. He gave it back, and signed the ear.

Stitch tried to open my bag and steal the stuff inside, but Lilo stopped him. :stitch:

The most bizarre one I've seen was at the character meal at Gulliver's at the Swan with Timon and Rafiki - there weren't a lot of people there so Rafiki sat down at our table and started pouring out the spices onto the table and made designs with them kind of like in the movie when he creates Simba's picture on the wall. (He did leave quite a mess behind!)

Ah, Stitch! We got to see Pirate Stitch on our cruise. He kept licking everyone's autograph books and hiding them in his ear!!

About 20+ years ago, I was 4 at the MK...Jiminy Cricket came out of nowhere, grabbed me, and started dancing with me. I was so embarrassed. My parents thought it was the cutest thing and took lots of pics. I just went with it after awhile!

I have seen Mickey Mouse climb the Matterhorn at Disneyland; dd10 rode Goofy's Barnstormer with Pooh, and we saw Mickey and Minnie both riding Dumbo (in separate vehicles).

When we ate breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel, we had two fun interactions - Pinnochio cut up my 2yo's waffle and fed it to her, and Goofy himself brought me a glass of water, after hearing me complain to my server that I had already asked her for water three times, and she kept forgetting.

Pluto tried to eat my head.
Goofy saw Woody's autograph and waved it off.
Frozone snuck up behind my mom.
Robin Hood hugged me and messed with my hair.
Donald and Daisy kissed.

the reason why you had such great experiences with the characters at Disney land is because the world has put such tight restrictions on characters for them to have fun and actualy create those magical moments they have to go against their training. And quite often get yelled at it as well.

Somebody once mentioned that Clarabelle rode with Goofy on the barnestormer. Clarabelle got yeleed at for doing that. but she created some memories so thats all that maters.

I Saw Brer Fox Outside Of Splash Mountain's Exit Banging On A
Box For Pennies! (his new look works very well for him!)

You are so right......We went to Disneyland a few years ago and had the best character interactions. They were so much better than the ones that we have experienced in the WDW parks.

My kids still talk about how Peter Pan came over to us while we were eating breakfast and stole his shoe, smelled it and said yuck....he then ran away with it and Captain Hook, of all people, rescued it from him. He made Peter Pan put it back on my son's foot. It was so cute :wizard: .

One cute thing from AK recently was during the Festival of the Lion King. Timon sat in the audience a few rows behind us, with a family and watched the show for a few minutes with them.

Last year during MVMCP, the Madhatter rode in the tea cups with my two ds's. He had them laughing so hard! He pointed to the signs on the door that had the rules for riding the ride and the one with the people standing and the big x he stood up and told the boys "This one means no Danthing" and starting to do a crazy dance! Great time!

Yes! I'm sure this is typical "Stitch behavior" but my kids got the biggest kick out of Stitch LICKING their autograph books. I thought it was hilarious, too! Gotta love Stitch and his antics!

We were riding the TTA once and saw Mickey and Minnie in a car with another family - how fun!!! I was so jealous :teeth:

At a character breakfast YEARS ago on the empress lilly, we had a (not sure of the character) practically dive into our booth and tickle the adults on our booth, this went on for awhile and we have some hysterical pictures, I guess the car fixated himself on us that day, but when they do something out of the ordinary in my opinion thats what makes it so memorable, It would be a shame if they get yelled at for that type of behavior, if I were Disney, I would encourage it!

Pluto rode Goofy's Barnstormer with my daughter. We figured this was his bid for his own ride. ;)

As far as fun interaction, we've had lots of little moments. Some favorites:

Tweedledum "picked his nose" with his autograph pen and wiped it on the video camera.

Meeko played keep-away with my son's autograph book and hat.

The Queen of Hearts knocked DS's hat off about five times in the space of two minutes. Children these days are so disrespectful.

Now that I think about it, I'll have to make a compilation of what we've caught on tape.

Oh, and here's a video I found that has Eeyore trying to catch his tail and then dancing to "milkshake" at the end. I keep wondering if guests were in the room yet.

We also had are DS & DD ride the Tea cups with the Madhatter at MVMCP last year, Also Twettle-DEE and Dumb were with him. My daughter will still thumb her nose at people and tell them that that MH taught her that. They thought it was the best thing in the world. It was great except it was the last thing of the night and we had just ran out of film. :furious: Oh well, next time I will have DIGITAL :thumbsup2 ,so no film.
