What have you learned from YOUTUBE?

I learned to take the tank off a toilet. I was scraping wallpaper in my kids' bathroom and needed to get behind it but didn't want to pull the whole thing out. I did go to a plumbing company to buy new bolts because the old ones were corroded.

My son learned how to replace the belt on my dryer because I asked him to check it out. $20 later dryer is running great. This was years ago. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago: he is having lunch with a friend who just ordered a new dryer. She tells him it wasn't spinning. They go to her house and he checks out the dryer, goes and get a belt, fixes the dryer and she cancels the new one. She bought lunch!

Love the answers people are posting!

I, too, have learned MANY things that have saved me a ton of money. Fixed my dryer problem. Learned how to take apart my dishwasher drawer. Saved $100, believe it or not, by watching a video on how to replace the burned out bulb in my Honda Odyssey clock (which requires you to remove the entire dashboard, but is a $2 part from Radio Shack). Was quoted $800 to fix my minivan automatic door so it would shut properly--tried youtube and got it to work. Admittedly, it's not like it used to be, but at least it opens and closes.

New recipes, knitting stitches, braid styles, how to make a pill-box hat, etc etc are all things I've learned on youtube.

Went to New Orleans, and came across a band called Tube Skinny and now I am addicted to their music videos.
