We have 8 total in our group. I have MDE - FP+ booking control for everyone.

(in march) 5 of us arrive on Thursday for 9 days, three of us arrive on Sunday for 6 days. (in march)

At 60 days, i will log on when the window opens and make FP+ for the group of 5, and do this for the entire week. My question is about what happens in 3 days when I log on for the group of 3...... any tips or trips to be able to add them to our fast passes. ( i know how to "do it" in the app) I am more concerned about they system having room to bump a party from 5 to 8.

Obviously, everyone wants to do the big ticket items.....so i will book those as late in the week as possible.

Thanks for any experiences you may have had doing this.

If the later arriving group of 3 is part of your Friends and Family list, which I'm assuming they are, since you are planning together, you can make all plans for everyone on the same day.

As long as the “group of 3” didn’t book a package, you can book for everyone as soon as your window opens.

If they booked resort+tickets package, you have to wait the 3 days to book for them.

the issue is they won't have valid tickets yet

if it's a package with tickets, the linked tickets won't show up until 60 days out.

If they already have tickets on their profile then their check in date doesn't matter as long as you book with your own FPs.

you just are not grasping what i am wanting to ask.....I am able to book their fp+ 3 days after mine. for the days we will be in sync....what has been someone...anyone's experience....adding people to already booked FP+

I will probably be time consuming to do it. You can try to get close time , overlapping the hour.

I'd try to overlap. Keep the big ticket ones to as late in their stay as possible. Then rather than adding them (that's time consuming) just have the list of times your fastpasses are and try and overlap, even if you just have a 15 minute overlap, it still gives both parties 15 minutes to ride the ride together (+/- the grace period if you want to rely on that). I'd make a spreadsheet and print it out so that you can see at a glance what times everything is, when your existing dinner reservations are etc.
