What has been the best sign-up bonus for Disney Visa

I am looking at a $100 bonus right now (after $500/3 month spending) for the Premier, and $50 after first purchase for the regular free card.

I seem to recall seeing $250 at sometime - is that possible? or is this as good as it gets.

First, I want to say hi! I have lurked on this site for YEARS & I finally got the nerve to start posting!!

If I recall correctly, I got $200 after first use of at least $100, but it was a few years ago, maybe 2009? (b/f the premier visa was offered). I haven't seen anything as good as that offer since though......

yep, I got the same. I tried to get the same deal for my mother, though, and I couldn't find it again.

We got $200 after spending $500 in May. Already got the GC since we charged our cruise right away.

This was through an invitational mailer we received with a special offer code. This was the regular Disney Visa.

The best I have seen was $250 and that was 2009 or 2010.

I am looking to apply for the Disney Premier Visa, but also want that $200 gift card offer. We buy EVERYTHING on our cc and pay it off each month so this could really help earn some $$ toward our Disney vacations. I have the Hilton HHonors Reserve card now, but am considering the switch (if I want to stay on Disney property the Hilton doesn't help me as much). Anyway, does anyone know how to get on that mailing list for the offer or when they might offer it again? The new Disney Visa kiosks in the parks-- does anyone who as been know if they are giving a better offer? Thanks!

When we upgraded to the premier visa, we were offered 5% on eligible purchases for 3 months. We paid lots of bills early (DVC dues, AP's, etc), and ended up getting over $700 in Disney dollars from Chase. It was a great perk while it lasted!

Thanks for the input everyone - and I love the idea of paying some items in advance, CVJW - that was a GREAT deal.

We have the Costco AmEx, and it pays generous rewards, but somehow that cash always disappears into the flotsam of everyday spending, instead of being tagged for something specific, like a Disney vacation.
