Good morning All.

Ok, so here is my question. As of today, I am less then 100 days from my wedding which means I am 102 days away from my DIsneymoon and getting to see my princess at her castle.

At 45 days, what will Disney send me in the mail? I love getting my reservation confirmation sheets almost weekly (it really is a lot of fun to see whats changed and when they get sent) but im curious to know what big package im going ot get at day 45 or 44, or 43.

Also, in the same vein, what am i going to get when i show up at the front desk of the CR (or at the CL Desk, im not sure if im going to upgrade or not)

Disboards Rocks and your help is appreciated.

I am 15 days out and have gotten NOTHING except for the initial confirmation! :sad2:

Hmmmm.... The only thing I know of at 45 days prior is you have to have your package paid in full. I don't think they send out gifts or anything if that's what you mean. :confused3

WOW.. really? I thought maybe they sent out a final confirmation or a welcome packet or something with all of the nifty vouchers or whatever else your supposed to get.

Wow am i now sort of disappointed. ANyone else have any thoughts?

Did you hear that you get vouchers somewhere? I've never heard that, but would be interested in hearing where you heard that. :flower:

Sleuth,
Ive seen other posts about people getting ME vouchers in the mail, about getting vouchers for their lanyards and pins, also sometimes getting hotel information and a final confirmation?

Does anyone know about any of this?

Also, can anyone tell me what to expect when i check in.

If you upgrade to CL, you'll probably get something from them. It might just be a we can't wait to see you type of thing.

If you are doing a package- you will eventually get luggage tags and things like that. Not sure of how far ahead it is though. Unless this has changed with the MYW packages.

Not to sound ignorant, but WOW. Youd think your spending all that money theyd make sure you have everythyuing you need ahead of time. Granted, I have no idea what "everything" is.

What do they give you when you check in?

I think you just have to have your package paid in full by 45 days. The CM at reservations told me I would receive my package about 2 weeks before I leave. I was disappointed, too. I just wanted to see something. I did get a statement stating my trip was paid for... :flower: Just knowing that makes me feel good!

I have been told (several times... I'm paranoid, since it's mine and my DW's first stay on property, and I call a lot  ) that, because we booked a Dream Maker Basic package (waaaaay back in September of '04) for a Deluxe Savannah View room at AKL, we would get a package containing luggage tags and whatnot about 45 days prior to our arrival. Mind you, when I was told this, I was actually calling to ask for a confirmation that I had paid off my balance in full, and was told that this was all I'd get, confirmation-wise. Well, about three weeks ago, I received a confirmation in the mail telling me that, yes, I had paid off the balance in full. And then, a week later, I received the same exact confirmation. So, I guess everything's cool. :sunny:

I, too, would love to know what exactly happens when one checks into a Disney hotel, as I have never stayed there before. Me, I'm kind of expecting someone full-to-bursting with Magic to float out and warmly welcome me and my DW with tea and scones and little trained mice dressed in Victorian garb as his little footmen... maybe, you know, someone like Richard Simmons (I've always thought he was Magical... :wizard: ).

Anyway, anyone who's actually experienced a Disney welcome, please--Do tell. :goodvibes

Not to sound like Eeyore or anything but... not much happens other than a friendly, "Next!, Welcome, we hope you enjoy your stay" kind of thing. No pixie dust falls from the sky, no flowers or balloons, just a limp lei if you are at the Poly... (and even that I had to ask for!) Try not to expect anything and then you'll be pleasantly surprised if you get anything. By the way... not all magical express paperwork comes with the lanyard / pin voucher. Oddly enough I got one (a tear off coupon off the front) and our friends traveling the same time did not. Good Luck!
:earsgirl:

I just noticed that the closer you get to your trip, the longer the days seem to last as you wait. By day 45 they just really start to drag. This phenomenon usually will go away the last week before a trip when its time to actually get everything packed, bills paid, dog dropped off ect., when suddenly there are not enough hours in the day.
