What Happens When Akerhaus Rolls From Breakfast to Lunch...

I've been dreaming of a breakfast ADR to Akerhaus, but since I booked just slightly into my 180 day window, I've had to settle for lunch. Just now grabbed a breakfast ADR (actually noticed many have opened up on every day of our trip), for 10:50am. I know historically we are rarely seated on time at Disney (not complaining, just stating) - I'm assuming lunch starts at 11, so is there a chance we will just simply be seated and handed a lunch menu? Considering that is my alternative right now anyway, I can't complain, but truly would prefer the breakfast and was just wondered how that worked there. Thanks!

I never been there for breakfast or lunch (only dinner) so I'm not sure the answer to your question! But I just wanted to say don't give up hope for an earlier adr people change their plans all the time and things open up. So you may be able to get an earlier reservations with a little bit of diligence and pixie dust

I did a spot check of a few different days and it showed Akershus breakfast ends at 11:10, but lunch doesn't start until 11:55. You can continue checking online for an earlier time if you want.

We were there for a late breakfast a few years ago. The meal is served family-style, so they will still bring breakfast food to your table. But there is also a "buffet" area with rolls, pastries, fruit, yogurt, etc. They changed out the "buffet" offerings from breakfast to lunch during our meal so make sure you visit that area soon after you are seated. I remember because my kids were sad that the rolls were gone and were replaced with something that looked like fish to them
